Bold Brow Must Haves.

There is one thing that has been very apparent when looking at the runway shows and when flipping through the magazines and that is bold brows. Bold brows, when not unruly or too overdone, are beautiful. To get your brows bold and beautiful, it takes the right products. Now, there are brow products and there are great brow products that get the job done right the first time.

Bold Brow Must Haves: The best makeup products for beautiful, bold eyebrows.

Now, I've talked about the best brow products for beautiful brows. If you haven't read that article, you should becasue that one shares the best tools and tips to get brows into shape. In this article, I am going to share the latest brow products that will give you those beautiful brows you see in all of the top magazines.

Top Bold Brow Products

If your brows are wimpy, you will want to start with an eyebrow enhancing serum. I like GrandeBROW to promote thicker and fuller-looking brows. Made up of a properitary blend of vitamins, peptides and amino acids plus the key ingredient prostaglandin I.C., this serum extends the length of the hair growth cycle. It comes with a special applicator brush that is designed to deliver the product to the natural shape of the brows. You apply it at night, to clean brows to thinning areas of the brows.

To fill in the brows, you can choose from powders or pencils to get the job done.

For powders, I like a few of them.

The first one that I use often is Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Powder Duo. This two-shade powder is smudge-proof and offers just the right amount of coverage to fill in, shape and define brows. I love the fact that there are two shades in each little compact as you can use either shade or both for your own customized color. I apply with the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brush #12 which has a spoolie brush on one end and a stiff angled brush on the other. It applies the powder perfectly. There are 11 duo shade compacts to choose from so literally every brow shade will be covered with this one.

The next powder I use is actually a palette just for brows, the Laura Geller Brow Sculpting Palette. This palette has three perfect products to whip brows into the bold brow shape you're after. It has a duo powder to customize the right shade of powder to fill in brows plus a highlighting powder to apply underneath the brow to lift and sculpt the brows. To set the brow, there is also a sheer wax included in the palette. I really like that this comes with a mini dual ended brush that has an angles brush on one side and a spoolie brush on the other. The palette comes in blonde, brunette and taupe shades.

For pencils, there are some old standby's that I love plus a few new discoveries that I am really enamored with. It's amazing how far in development brands have taken it in, even with an eyebrow pencil.

One pencil that I have used for a few years is IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil. This pencil comes in one perfect universal shade that adheres to the skin as you apply it. It somehow really looks like real hairs as you fill in brows no matter how thick or thin you choose to use it. It's super long-wearing so brows are bold all day long.

New and really innovative to the brow game are two that I have been testing and really liking: Urban Decay Brow Beater and Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil.

Urban Decay Brow Beater is an ultra fine pencil that is double-ended with a waterproof brow pencil on one end and a spoolie brush on the other. The microfine tip and unique texture lays down the color perfectly. It's a long-lasting formula that doesn't come off until you take it off.  Brow Beater comes in four shades: taupe, neutral brown, warm brown, and dark.

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil is the one I have been using almost daily. This pencil is so unique; it features a buildable formula that actually combines a powder, pencil and a wax in a mechanical pencil form. The object it to create the look of naturally fuller, defined brows in one easy step and it gets that job done quickly and easily with its unique triangular shape. You cansculpt with broad strokes using the flat edge of the pencil and fill them in with
fine lines using the pointed tip. There are nine shades to choose from, so no matter your brow color, there is an easy to match shade in the line up for you.

I also like Pixi Beauty Endless Brow Gel Pen that just launched this fall. This pencil is a creamy gel-like pencil formula that fills in brows with ease. It adheres to the skin and brow hairs and stays put. This comes in three shades that easily match a variety of brows.

Transforming Pearl

IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Vol. 2 Romantics Matte Eyeshadow Palette

I love the shades and the formula. The formula is a soft matte formula that is matte, but not a dry, chalky matte type formula. These mattes are made to actually look soft and beautiful on the lids; these shadows diffuse lines and wrinkles around the eyes and lids.

The genius of this palette, though, is the transforming pearl shade. This shade instantly transforms any of the matte shades into a soft pearlized tone. To use, simply dip your brush into any of the 14 matte shades then tap it into the transforming pearl shade and voilá! I love the lighter shades to be worn as matte, but then use the shades like Fate and Embrace with the pearl.

Fall 2015: CHANEL Collection Les Automnales.

CHANEL always launches a beautiful fall collection, but I think they totally outdid themselves this year. It's as if every piece of the Collection Les Automnales was made for not only me, but for every skin tone and to interchange with all of the other products in the collection. Inspired by fall foliage, earthy neutrals take center stage on the eyes and cheeks while lips are a bit more bold; the collection is simply breathtaking.

CHANEL Collection Les Automnales

I love the balance of bold and neutral and the eye palettes are must haves - you just have to decide which one you want, if not both.

There is the fall exclusive, five-shade palette, Les 5 Ombres de CHANEL Eyeshadow Palette Entrelacs ($80), that features nude shades ranging from light to dark in matte and satin shades. This palette is my pick of my collection and I haven't put it down since I received it. Look at how intricate the embossed pattern of the shadow it! It was actually designed after the stained-glass abbey windows of Aubazine, in central France where Gabrielle Chanel spent part of her youth. I love her CHANEL pays homage to their history in each of their collections. The palette features a shimmering beige, velvet beige, luminous bronze, intense brown and satin pink.

The other eye palette in the collection is the Les 4 Ombres Multi-Effect Quadra Eyeshadow ($61)  in Tissé D'Automne. This palette features shimmery shades of copper, peach and khaki for a subtle khaki smoky eye which is beautifully perfect for the season.

Both of the eyeshadow palettes pair wonderfully with the four Long-Lasting Eyeliner ($32) shades. This liner is super soft and easy to apply. It glides onto the lid and gives about thirty seconds of smudge time before it locks into place until you remove it.  In this collection there is:

Feuilles - Intense Khaki
Ardent - Copper
Érable - Shimmering Bronze
Pomme De Pin - Charcoal Brown

For cheeks, there is a gorgeous neutral Powder Blush ($45) in Alezane that is a beautiful shimmering pink- brown shade. It is soft and pretty on the cheek that balances the neutral eyes with the bold lips.

For lips, there are a lot of choices, from nude copper to red like I mentioned above. I love the lighter Rouge Coco Shine ($36) shades, especially Mélancolie. Chanel describes this as copper, but I think it is a shimmery nude copper shade that is simply stunning. There is also Téméraire, which is a sheer deep brick red.

I love a red gloss, as I feel that is the easiest way to transition to a full on red lip, and there is a gorgeous Glossimer ($30) in this collection in the shade Chéne Rouge, which is a glossy Brick Red that is really easy to wear.

Also included in the collection is a Rouge Allure Luminous Intense Lip Colour ($36) in Pensive which is described as an Intense pink beige. This is the only shade I haven't seen but I really think I need too just from that description. There is also a Rouge Allure Velvet which is a Luminous Matte Lip Colour ($36) in La Bouleversante which is a vivid red shade.

The collection also includes come new nail colors and a new base and top coat. You can read more about them here.

The CHANEL Collection Les Automnales is available now at fine department stores such as Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and chanel.com now.
