New Year's Goal No. 3: Wear More Color!

Okay, okay, so I am getting pretty lofty with my goals for the new year. I am GOING to stick to my new nightly skincare routine and wear sunscreen every day. But this one just might be the most difficult one for me. I am going to wear more color. And I am not just talking makeup.

I wear mostly neutral makeup, especially lipstick. And nail polish. I also prefer a neutral color palette when it comes to my clothes. BORING. This is the year that I will start to wear more color. I am going to start with MAC's Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour Metallics because my oh my they are full-on gorgeous!

I knew that MAC had teamed up with beauty guru Patrick Starr sometime before the holidays, but what I did not know was that it was a holiday collection. Well, shame on me. I just received the MAC x Patrick Starr collection very late last week, so I assumed that the collection was up and coming — I feel like I am the last to know. Apparently, the collection is out now and I have to say that after playing with the new neutral-hued products for a few days that you need to take a look at these beauties and pick up what you want before these limited edition items are gone.

Well, that was fast... Christmas has come and gone. After all of the holiday prep we do, it just seems to fly by, doesn't it? Anyway, it is time to break out that holiday cash and those gift cards you received and start shopping!
