Have you seen the new crackled nail? I am sure you have, as it is one of the hottest beauty trends of the year.  I think it is really fun to add a colorful, two texture polish to the nails.  Just in time for this fun new trend is Duri KRAKL, a unique polish that separates and dries on the nail in a variety of artful “cracks” once applied over your favorite Duri nail color. 

KRAKL comes in fours shades: Queen of Hearts, Black Widow, Madame de Pompadour and White Witch.

Applying a thin coat of Duri KRAKL over dry nail color will yield a skinny cracking pattern across the nail.  Wider cracks, such as the ones shown on the bottle’s cap, can be achieved by applying a thick, generous layer of the KRAKL formula.  Each time you apply, the KRAKL pattern is different!

As I sit here gazing out the window on this first full day of spring, all I can do is wonder about the warmth of that is soon to come. I wish I could feel it now, but alas, this is New England and it is snowing. So. Not. Spring.

Sephora by OPI Glee Collection.

Do you watch Glee? It is such a great show for all ages. My youngest watches it and sings along as well as my almost 70 year old mother. Now it is time for everyone to jump on the Glee bandwagon, starting with OPI and the Sephora by OPI Glee Collection.

Whether you are a Gleek or not, this limited collection, officially called Sephora by OPI goes Gleek Chic, will feature a set of polishes and some new nail prints, that are perfect for anyone.

 

The Sephora by OPI goes Gleek Chic collection will feature a limited edition range of 10 new nail colour shades and three print nail design appliqués inspired by the show’s colorful cast, fantastic music numbers and comedic references that all Gleeks know and love. The collection will be available February 3rd exclusively at all major Sephora locations in the U.S and Canada including Sephora locations inside JCPenney’s. Its launch will coincide with the much-anticipated special episode of GLEE that will air following Super Bowl XLV on FOX.

Fans will also be able to catch a glimpse of the Sephora by OPI Glee polish during the series’  upcoming Valentine’s Day episode on February 8th, which will feature the characters Mercedes (Amber Riley), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), Brittany (Heather Morris), Santana (Naya Rivera) and Lauren Zizes (Ashley Fink) donning the colors.

As part of its online campaign, Sephora will host a “Nailed It! GLEEK Out Photo Contest”, on Facebook urging fans to upload photos of themselves in GLEE inspired looks and a “Hide and Go Gleek” Twitter contest rewarding fans with prizes for correct answers to GLEE trivia questions.
