Lancôme to Launch Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate.

Lancôme is preparing for a huge skincare launch coming up in March. It is called a youth activator which will represent an entire new category of skincare. It is titled Génifique.

Lancôme told me that a two week focus group trial contained the most amazing results Lancôme has ever seen. Now, that is exciting. Over ten years of research has gone into Génifique Youth Activator, and it promises to bring something completely different to the prestige skincare market.

Lancome president, Odile Roujol, said

this product is truly a revolution in facial care adapting to the needs of each person's skin, it makes cells return to the protein levels of younger skin.

Here is a little sneak peak video to entice you just a little more. Right now, all I know is the fact that this product sounds pretty revolutionary, and that a 1 oz. bottle will sell for $78. I don't know where you live, but in most places of the country, it is cold, or colder than normal. And one thing that suffers immensely is our skin. What is Your Favorite Spa Service?

I have a few trips coming up over the next few months. I will be in Boston for a few days the beginning of February, then I will be in New York City later that month. In March I will be in Florida, and then I will be back there again the end of April. As I am in the need of some major pampering, I plan to pick a spa at each destination and try out a service or two.

I am looking for something beyond a mani/pedi. Though I do love them, I indulge in those all of the time. I know I want a facial, but what type I am not sure of. I have only had two facials before - one was awful with all the extracting and picking, but the other was a gentle glycolic peel at the Lancome Boutique, which was heavenly. I know there are so many types of facials available, but I would love to hear your thoughts on a few of your favorites.

I am also thinking about a massage. I have never had one before, but my back, neck and shoulders could definitely use some love.

I could also benefit for a full body treatment. Maybe a special scrub or hydrating therapy. I am not sure.
