A Prescription from Dr. Glamour.

One of my most neglected body part is my lips. Yes, I make them look pretty, and lube them up with lip balm, but they do have their problems. In comes Dr. Glamour from Bourjois, and my lips haven't been happier, or looking better - and that's the main goal, right?

Just look at this cute new line-up of lip goodies:
Docteur Glamour - An 8 hour moisturizing lipstick, $15
Pulp Action - Lip plumping gloss, $17
Coulourless Lip Liner- A no color lip liner to prevent feathering, $12
Fresh Kiss - Clear, glossy gloss with a mint flavor to keep lips looking shiny while breath is freshened, $15.50
Lip Scrub & Baume - A double sided product to exfoliate and then moisturize with a pretty pearly glossy balm, $17
Night Lip Balm - A pink tinted lip balm full of rich emollients to repair lips while sleeping, $10

This is the best prescription and easiest to use, that I have ever gotten from a Doctor yet.

More Love to the Lancome Juicy Tubes.

The lovely rep from Lancome saw my post about my Juicy Tube Obsession, and thanked me by adding a few more to my collection.

lancom_juicy_berry.gifFirst there is Berry Lustre from the new Summer Collection Juicy Tubes Tropiques. It is the perfect Berry shade for a light, berry-licious summer sheen. And it tastes like a blend of ripe strawberries and raspberries - Yum.

Then she sent me the clear Juicy Tube, the Juicy Tube Jelly in Pure, which I am finding is such a necessity. I get the beautiful high shine I am use to, and can use it either alone or over one of my favorite Lipsticks.

My ultimate favorite by far is Dreamsicle from the Juicy Tubes Smoothie collection. Seriously, she must have been reading my mind to know that orange & creme is my favorite flavor E-V-E-R, and this is the perfect opalescent pink to wear alone on a natural look makeup day, or to add a beautiful pearly shine to another favorite lip product.

Thanks again Lancome. I don't think I could live without all my Juicy Tubes !  ;)

An Q & A with Makeup Artist Bobbi Brown.

Glam.com scored a great interview with the most wonderful Bobbi Brown. She is one of my favorite makeup artists, as she designs makeup for real women. And her skin care items are fabulous! Her face balm is the best for overly dry skin.

In the spirit of this great interview, I thought I would share a few of my favorite Bobbi Brown items.

I use two shades of her eye-shadow almost daily. I use Bone as a base color and Smoke as my eyeliner, with one of her slanted eyeliner brushes that came in one of her shadow palettes. I use her Shimmer Tube Tints a lot too. I just l-o-v-e the minty flavor, and like the Glow Sugar Shimmer Tint over many of my lipsticks. and her Shimmer Bricks are awesome, if you have never tried them, don't hesitate. My favorite is Brownie, and it one of my favorite bronzing palettes, ever. In the summer, I swear by her Extra Tinted Moisturizing Balm, with SPF 25. It is just enough coverage, all the moisture I need, and it last all day. Not to mention that medium tint blends perfectly with my (self) tanned face.

Be sure to take a few minutes to check out the interview with Bobbi over at Glam.
