Tarte's 24/7 Natural Lip Sheers in 3 New Shades.

One must not forget to wear an SPF on the lips (as well as all over!). Not only are lips very delicate, they are common place for skin cancer. Being that May is Melanoma Awareness Month, Tarte Cosmetics just launched three new shades in their best selling 24/7 Natural Lip Sheer line up.

Each 24/7 Lip Sheer contains a hint of color with an SPF of 15. The formula is quite moisturizing and looks beautiful on bare lips or even used as a base for gloss.

The new shades:

Dawn - a shimmering golden nude

Twilight -a shimmering peach nude

Sunday -a shimmering deep pink

These new beauties join the rest of the six shades and are available right now at tarte.com, Sephora, beauty.com for $16 each.

My Favorite Winter Weather Lip Balms.

Aren't dry, cracked and chapped lips the worst? Ugh. Tis the season of cold temperatures vs. dry indoor heat. This winter season is wrecking havoc on my lips more than anything else.

I seem to have lip balms stashed all around the house, in my handbag and even in my car. As it is the season for these overly dry chapped lips, I usually buy and try a whole slew of different lip balms. But I have found a slew of lip balms that work best for me, so these are what I am sticking with for this winter.

Fresh Effects from ChapStick.

It is said that simply by applying a lip balm every night before bed, your lips will never be chapped. While I sort-of believe this theory, as I apply a lip balm every night, I still sometimes get chapped lips. I guess that is why I am forever on the hunt for another great lip balm.

This time I turned to the good ole stand-by ChapStick. Not just the run of the mill original black tube, even though that is just as good, but I like a bit more. Like this new one, called Fresh Effects*.

Fresh Effects is ChapStick's latest premium addition to the ChapStick lip balm line. Fresh Effects combines a subtle tingling sensation with a perfect creamy formula and yummy flavors - for soft and healthy looking lips.

While I do like both flavors, Invigorating Green Tea Mint and Refreshing Mandarin, I must admit that the Green Tea Mint is my favorite of them. My lips love the cooling sensation and the feel of being hydrated with it blend of 13 moisturizing ingredients.

Fresh Effects is sold at mass merchandisers right now for $2.99.

Have you experienced the fresh and cool feeling yet?
