St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion.

Just because summer is long gone and I've stopped my weekly self-tanning routine doesn't mean I don't long for a little bit of a golden glow on my skin. That's just what I have been getting with a new product from St. Tropez called Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion. In shower, you say? Yes! This product is applied in the shower - to wet skin! And it works super fast, in just three minutes as a matter of fact.

St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion is a first of its kind gradual self-tanner. It is patent pending for a reason. It is applied in the shower to wet skin where DHA ( the ingredient in self-tanner that makes the skin turn brown) penetrate the skin faster so it works faster and easier. The best part is that you don't have to wait for it to try becasue you rinse it off. There is no risk of staining clothes, sheets or self-tanner smell. It literally washes away.

It really is simple to use. I get in the shower as usual then proceed with the St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion.

Step 1 - Wash as normal with any normal shower gel.

Step 2 - Turn off the shower and generously apply the St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion to wet skin. It lathers so I use it as a guide. I start at my feet and work my way up. I keep a soapy wet washcloth on the side to wash it off my palms.

Step 3 - Wait 3 minutes for the self-tanner to develop.

Step 4 - Rinse off thoroughly. Be sure to rinse all of the self-tanner off, otherwise you could end up with darker areas.

Step 5 - Blot dry.

St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion will develop gradually. I did not notice much color on the first day, but by day three, I noticed a light shade of color and by day five a nice golden glow. I have light-medium skin. I think this is a great solution for those with very fair or light skin or those that want a little bit of color. If you have medium or a dark skin tone, I really don't think this will develop dark enough for you.

Though this is gradual and had limitations of working on lighter skin tone,s it is honestly the easiest and most natural looking self-tanner that I have ever applied. I did not have any streaking anywhere on my body and I covered myself totally.

St. Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Lotion sells for $25 in-store and online at Sephora, ULTA and StTropezTan.com.

Extend Your Summer Tan.

As we transition our way from summer to fall, you don't have to lose that summer tan you have. I'm hoping it's a faux glow but I see you all out there and realize many of you have spent a lot of time at the beach and are brown. Even though I pile on the sunscreen, my skin turns a light golden brown color as soon as I hit the outdoors too. I do enhance the color by self-tanning and that is exactly how I am extending and prolonging my summer tan. I've discovered some new products that are giving me the most believable color that lasts and one that protects me while I am outside.
