I am definitely obsessed with fall scents more than I am the fall season. Though I am not a fan of the cold or cooler weather, I seem to spend a lot of time picking apples and in the pumpkin patch; it must have something to do with those perfect fall scents. Keeping in line with beauty, I always search for and pull out the best beauty products scented in or infused with all things autumnal.
Did you know that ingredients like apple and pumpkin are really beneficial to the skin? THEY ARE! Here are ten beauty products that I am obsessed with this fall season.
1. philosophy Apple Cider Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath
This multi-tasking body product (I use it as a body wash/shower gel) smells like sweet apple cider. Yum! It lathers well and the scent lingers, yet it is not overpowering.
2. The Body Shop Vanilla Pumpkin Collection
If you dream about Pumpkin Spice Latte's, this collection is for you. Formulated with pumpkin fragrance, vanilla from Madagascar with hints of tonka bean, hazelnut and wait for it... maple syrup; these products leave skin sweetly scented and SUPER soft. The collection includes a Shower Gel, Softening Body Butter and Hand Cream, which I cannot live without as the weather had turned cooler.
3. June Jacobs Perfect Pumpkin Peeling Enzyme Masque
This detoxifying masque is somewhat spicy with its powerful pumpkin enzyme which helps to get rid of dead surface cells. As it does that, it helps to stimulate cellular turnover and improve skin’s tone and texture.
4. Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel
This alpha and beta hydroxy acid peel provides thorough exfoliation to help reveal a brighter complexion as it helps to slough off dead skin cells. Over time, this peel helps to create firmer-looking skin plus it reduces the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation. The Full Strength peel does tingle quite a bit, so if you have sensitive skin, try the less intensive Sensitive peel.
5. Too Cool For School Pumpkin 24K Gold Sheet Mask
I love a sheet mask and this bio-cellulose sheet mask is a great one for this time of year. This mask is filled with pumpkin fruit extract PLUS 24K gold to give skin a radiant, well-nourished look.
6. Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Enzyme Mask
This powerful and highly effective exfoliating mak is more of a treatment that helps with dull, aging and congested skin. The pumpkin enzyme is very powerful when it comes to resurfacing the skin and when mixed with acids like this mask, the end result (softer, smoother, more radiant skin) is revealed quickly.
7. Garnier Whole Blends Green Apple & Green Tea Refreshing Shampoo & Conditioner
Hair is invigorated with the crisp fragrance of green apples and soothing green tea — so perfect for fall — which also helps bring to hair back life after a summer of sun damage. The revitalizing blend helps to revitalize hair and boosts natural shine.
8. dpHUE Apple Cider Vinegar Scalp Scrub
If you haven't heard about how effect Apple Cider Vinegar is for you, then you haven't been paying attention. This scalp scrub (I'm addicted to scalp scrubs, but am careful to only use one once or twice a week) combines apple cider vinegar plus Himalayan sea salt to naturally exfoliate the scalp while it removes oil and product buildu.
9. June Jacobs Perfect Pumpkin Enzyme Polish
This is another powerful product that uses pumpkin enzyme as its key ingredient. Combined with this powerful enzyme are crushed bamboo and jojoba micro beads to further cleanse the skin of dead cells. It also contains acids plus rich emollients so skin is left silky smooth plus radiant. I use this from my face all the way down to my chest.
10. Nest Pumpkin Chai Scented Candle
Not particularly a beauty product, I had to include this deliciously scented candle in the fall roundup because (a) I am obsessed with candles and (b) this candle simply smells divine. When I burn this one, it fills my home with a spicy cinnamon and pumpkin scent that is sweet and spicy at the same time. It makes my home space feel inviting without smelling fake.
