Estee Lauder Nutritious Vita-Mineral Makeup Collection.

Mineral makeup seems to be all the rage these days. Natural and good for you makeup. Count me in. I was so excited to hear about this new Nutritious Vita-Mineral Makeup Collection from Estee Lauder, especially because it includes a liquid mineral makeup in the line-up.

Utilizing the best of Estée Lauder’s skin care technology and ingredients, Nutritious loose powder makeup and liquid makeup help protect skin, while delivering a boost of visible energy and radiance. Each Nutritious makeup product instantly erases the signs of fatigue and enhances the beauty of your skin with a natural finish.

Just look at all of the nutrients and good for you ingredients:

Pomegranate - one of the most nutrient-dense fruits ever discovered. The makeup utilizes the fruit’s numerous skin boosting nutrients and potent antioxidants such as Vitamins C and E as well as Iron and Potassium, to provide a burst of radiance to the skin for a healthy glow and immediate vibrancy. Pomegranate also works in the formula to help neutralize free radicals and protect the skin from harmful environmental conditions.
Titanium Dioxide
- to protect against armful UVA and UVB rays
Silica - gently absorb excess oil which also helps to provide a soft focus effect that scatters light and hides skin imperfections, as well as aids in a smooth and seamless application.

The final result? Natural and invisible coverage with a flawless, photo-friendly finish.

So, the choice is yours. Liquid or Powder. I cannot wear mineral powders, so liquid is my choice.

Nutritious Vita-Mineral Loose Powder SPF 15 Makeup is non-drying and is packaged in a clear jar with a band of the Nutritious line’s signature red and a golden metal cap featuring the Estee Lauder cartouche. For maximum portability, the powder comes with its own exclusive deluxe loose powder foundation brush that makes creating a seamlessly natural, flawless look a breeze.

Nutritious Vita-Mineral Liquid SPF 10 Makeup is the newest form to get your mineral makeup every day and provides additional moisturization. Packaged in a clear tube with a band of the Nutritious line’s signature red and a golden metal cap, the liquid makeup is easy to use at home or on-the-go. Simply apply a small amount of the foundation to the finger tip and dot a small amount of product on the nose, cheeks, chin, temples and between the brows – or wherever needed. For a perfect finish, use your finger tips or Estée Lauder’s Foundation Brush to blend the foundation, working from the center of the face outwards.

Like I said, the Vita-Mineral Liquid is my choice. It smoothes on beautifully and does leave a luminous, not shiny, finish to my skin. I only need a bit of setting powder to make it last the day. I was really impressed with it and will definitely be adding this into my foundation rotation. I can see me using it more and more in the Summer months though, as I will depend on the staying power and UV block that is built iin.

Nutritious Vita-Mineral Loose Powder SPF 15 Makeup and Nutritious Vita-Mineral Liquid SPF 10 Makeup i are each available in 6 shades. My perfect winter shade is 02, and 03 will probably suit my faux bronzed skin in the Summer. Each formula will sell for $33.50. Check them out at Estée Lauder counters nationwide and on beginning in February 2009.
