A Cream Blush I Can FINALLY Get Behind: Make Up For Ever HD Microfinish Blush.

I have a mostly hate relationship with cream blushes. When I think I love one, I use it a few times and then toss it. This seems to happen over and over because I can never keep it looking natural, and applying consistent. Maybe I am just better at controlling how I apply powder, I am not sure. But times have changed, beauty friends. Make Up For Ever has come up with an excellent cream blush that is so different and natural that it is one that I can finally get behind. This is HD Microfinish Blush. It is wonderfully different.

Notice that this creamy formula is not in a pot like most cream blushes. This blush comes in a pump in which needs to be pumped gently to dispense the tiniest amount to use. It blends seamlessly and looks more natural and better as it is rubbed in. With a combination of mattifying and reflecting powders infused into the formula, it helps to create an air-brushed, soft finish.

HD Microfinish Blush comes in 14 shades to naturally sculpt and highlight cheeks for the healthiest and most natural looking glow. From light to bright with undertones of pink or yellow, there is a natural looking shade for every skin tone. My favorites are #6 Quickie, a salmon pink that gives a pop of color to my cheeks and looks perfect under a light bronzer; and #8 PDA, which is probably the most neutral shade, as it is a universal pinky nude.

Here is the complete rundown of shades:

#1   Innuendo - Vibrant Plum
#2   Caught in the Act - Bright Raspberry
#3   Truth or Dare - Hot Pink
#4   Walk of Shame - Bubblegum Pink
#5   Nip Slip - Neutral Pink
#6   Quickie - Salmon Pink
#7   One Too Many - Peachy Beige
#8   PDA - Pinky Nude
#9   In the Spotlight - Nude
#10 Skinny Dipping - Light Orange Brown
#11 Mistaken Identity - Redwood Brown
#12 First Kiss - Bright Apricot
#13 Smooth Talker - Vibrant Pale Pink
#14 Star Struck - Pale Peach

I have been applying HD Microfinish Blush with the tips of my fingers, but a HD Blush Brush is available as well. I am sort of intrigued by that alone and will probably give it a try and pick one up next time I am in Sephora. The blush retails for $25.00, while the brush is $39.00. They are exclusive to Sephora, so be sure to look for them there.
