Sponsored: My Mary Kay Fall Look.

I had a wedding to go to a few weeks ago, and I wore the Mary Kay® makeup look that I told you about last month.  The makeup was perfect for the warm fall day. It was a nice compliment to the navy dress I wore.  Please forgive the blurry iPhone picture.

As I described in the video and in the previous post, a pop of color on the cheeks and lips are a trend for fall. The strong berry lip and cheek that I wore with some beautiful shades from the Mary Kay® line were perfect. My makeup pretty much lasted all night, except for having to re-do my lips after drinking some bubbly.

Of course some of my friends asked me what Lip Gloss I was wearing, and I proudly told them it was Mary Kay® Nourishine Plus® Lip Gloss in the color Pink Luster. A few of them were surprised that it was Mary Kay. I am not sure why, but I think it was because they know I have very expensive taste and would have expected me to be wearing a $35 lipgloss, and not one that cost so much less.  I told them it’s all about quality, coverage and color for me. The Mary Kay® Nourishine Plus® Lip Gloss fit the bill and simply made me feel glamorous.

Sponsored: Mary Kay Must Have's for Fall.

What are your beauty must-have’s for fall? I am always looking for new trends and shades to wear each season. Right now, it’s all about a subtle glam look, a bit Hollywood Mystique. Gorgeous. Glamourous. Mysterious. Sexy. “Iconic glamour meets femme fatale fashion”.

I want to show you a quick and easy look that I created using some Mary Kay® makeup. The look is all about textured, neutral shades for the eyes, with a beautiful pop of berry on both the cheeks and lips. It’s a menswear with a feminine twist theme.

Watch the video to see exactly how I created my look.

I am not only impressed with the shades of the colors I selected, but the quality as well. The mineral colors are long-lasting, fade-resistant, and crease-resistant. They are even good for my skin. Packed with vitamins A, C and E, my eyes and cheeks are reaping the benefits, while getting protection against wrinkle-causing free radicals. How great it it that this makeup is actually good for me?

I will be stocking up on the Ultimate Mascara™ for sure. There was no clumping, and my lashes looked beautiful all day with no flaking or smudging.

I applied everything with brushes from the Mary Kay® Brush Collection ($48.00). The brushes are super full and soft. They worked wonderfully when applying my glam makeup look. The brushes are definitely going in my regular brush holder right on my vanity, because I will be using them every day.

Summer Eye Makeup Looks from Mary Kay.

In the summer, I am more about minimal and more bronzy makeup. Sometimes, being all light and summery is not enough. I like to keep my looks on trend, especially when choosing eye makeup. I often get lost in trying to keep up with the trends, especially because I am privileged to get information months in advance. I do know that this summer is all about color-blocking, bright neon and citrus hues and of course, one trend I noticed at Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week, fuller brows. Getting it right can be tricky. That is why I have some great advice from celebrity makeup artist Virginia Linzee. Check out her to tips for perfect summertime eyes for these trends, using some Mary Kay makeup.
