Holiday 2017: Man Ray for NARS.

There is not much that I can say about the Man Ray for NARS Holiday 2017 Collection that pictures cannot say loudly and clearly. I mean, the modern master of art Man Ray, has been expressed in a magnificent way with this collaboration. From the painted on metallic gold lips on the packaging to the bold and bright makeup, the collection is nothing short of the unexpected.
When I first opened the beautiful holiday package that I received from NARS, I was immediately drawn to the bright Photoglass Lip Lacquer shades. I mean, HELLO Off Limits. That shimmering fuchsia is talking to me. And you can never go wrong with a golden shimmer like Muse, especially during the holiday season.
The star of the collection is definitely the Overexposed Glow Highlighter. Giving skin a gorgeous golden, universally flattering glow, this gold highlight is as beautiful on the skin as it is in the compact.
The Duo Eyeshadows are equally beautiful and if I had to pick just one, I would go with Debauched with Black Violet and Smoky Charcoal with Red Shimmer. This is almost unexpected and will give you the smoky eye look in a cinch. Montparnasse is pretty but is more for daytime or those who want less of a smoky look. The two Velvet Eyeliners in Nagoya and Santiago both coordinate with either duo palette.
The Blush shades are BRIGHT and I must warn you to use a very light hand with these two shades. As with all NARS Blush shades, these are very pigmented. Intensely Blush is Bright Tangerine and Fetishized Blush is a Pink Grapefruit.
When I saw the Veil Cheek Palette, I think my heart may have skipped a beat, Part of the Gifting Collection, this trio of contour, blush and highlighter is what I think is the gift to give yourself and a definite must-have. I love the Sun-Wash Diffusing Bronzer and it is included in the iconic shade Laguna in here.
Also part of the gifting collection, I have the NARS Love Triangle in Deep Throat and Barbara, which is perfect for any neutral girl; Noire Et Blanche Audacious Lipstick Coffret and The Kiss Velvet Matte Lip Pencil Set. If you are stumped for a gift and know a NARS girl on your list, pick up the Love Triangle or The Kiss — the cosmetic case is worth the price of the set alone.
