Karora Express Bronzing Mousse Self-Tanner Review.

You all know that I love a self-tanner and I have literally tried dozens of them. When I find one I like, I stick with it. I don't even like to try many new self-tanners because I am afraid to look orange or too brown or streaky. I honestly don't know why I accepted Karora Express Bronzing Mousse for review, but I think it had something to do with the name "Express" and its promise of a self-tan that develops in one hour.

Karora Express Bronzing Mousse Self-Tanner Review

The fact that it develops in one hour was definitely appealing, but once I received it and opened the bottle, the smell had me using this right away. Yes! The smell. This self-tanner smelled like some kind of whipped lemon cream so I had to try it.

This self-tanner is a foamy mousse with a color guide that applies with ease. I applied it with a mitt for an even, streak free application. It does dry within a few minutes, and the wonderful lemon smell does away as soon as it dries. I showered an hour after I applied and I was left with a very light tan. It was very light, lighter than I thought, and according to the instructions, this was expected. For a darker tan, it is instructed to leave on for three hours. I decided to try it again at night and I just went for it and left it on overnight. In the morning when I washed the self tanner off, I was left with a beautiful, dark , even self-tan. It was very believable, very even and free of any tell tale self-tanner smell. I was careful to moisturize at least twice a day and my faux glow lasted five days before I noticed any fading. Fading did happen evenly.

I am now using Karora Express Bronzing Mousse as my go-to self-tanner and I am reapplying every five days. I do like to apply it at night, before bed and wash off in the shower in the morning for a deep, rich tan. If you want a light tan, leave it on for an hour; a medium tan, two hours; a golden tan, three hours. If you want a dark tan, leave it on overnight.

Karora Express Bronzing Mousse sells for $40.00 at Ulta, Henri Bendel and KaroraCosmetics.com.
