ELLIS FAAS Launches at Bergdorf Goodman.

Conceived by makeup artist Ellis Faas, who was described by Vogue Paris as “one of the most influential makeup artists of her generation”, is launching ELLIS FAAS in the US this Saturday, January 9th, at Bergdorf Goodman.

If you have yet to hear of Ellis, get ready to. I bet her name will become synonymous with makeup artistry in the US now. She has worked with the world's most pre-eminent fashion designers, photographers, stylists, hairdressers and models. Ellis’ work has been published on the covers of the world’s best-known fashion magazines. Additionally, Ellis has worked for make-up brands, such as Clinique, Lancôme and MAC Cosmetics – and she was asked by L'Oréal to create a make-up line for their skin care brand, Biotherm. After the contract with L’Oréal ended in 2007, the way was paved for her to create her own brand: ELLIS FAAS.

The line originally started off with 27 lip products, but has recently been expanded to include 14 eye shadows, 2 mascaras, 2 eyeliners, 8 foundations, 8 concealers, 4 blushers, 3 powders plus an ingenious and stylish holder to keep everything in.

If you are in the NYC area, stop by the new ELLIS FAAS counter at Bergdorf Goodman counter on the 9th. I'll be trying out some of the products and will be back with my thoughts and complete rundown of the line soon.
