Get the Look: Julianne Moore at the 2013 Golden Globes.

Julianne Moore looked like a true movie star at the 2013 Golden Globes. With her beautiful updo, bright lip and beautiful Tom Ford gown, she was every bit the part. Her makeup was created by Makeup Artist Elaine Offers with L'Oreal Paris, and her hair was styled by Chris McMillan for Living Proof.

Makeup:

Elaine kept Julianne’s beauty look very clean, striking and classic – the perfect complement to her 60’s-inspired, graphic black & white Tom Ford frock.  While the 60’s were all about a nude, pale lip, Elaine gave Julianne’s beauty look a modern twist with a fresh and vibrant fuschia lip.

STEP-BY-STEP:
STEP 1: Elaine prepped Julianne’s skin with L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur Finishing Cream ($24.99) prior to foundation application to create a soft-focus effect

STEP 2: Next, she applied L’Oréal Paris True Match Lumi Foundation in Porcelain Light Ivory ($12.95)

STEP 3: Any dark circles or skin imperfections were concealed with L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Crayon Concealer ($8.95)

STEP 4: Elaine added hints of luminosity to the corner of Julianne’s eyes with L’Oréal Paris Magic Lumi Highlighter ($12.95)

STEP 5: For cheeks, Elaine applied just a hint of L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blush in Pink Lift ($12.95) to add a natural flush and give an overall glowing effect

STEP 6: Eyes were lined with L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in Brown ($8.95) before softly blending the four hues in the new L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Eye Shadow Quad in 527 Sultry Seductress ($7.95); This quad includes a slate and rich plum – the perfect colors to highlight Julianne’s green eyes

STEP 7: Her lashes were amplified with L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Power Volume 24H Power Mascara ($7.95)

STEP 8: Her lips stole the show in L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Caresse Lipstick in Velvety Fuschia ($9.99)

Hair:

“It all started with the dress, Julianne showed me what she was wearing yesterday and I had 24 hours to figure out how to style her hair. Overall it was a ‘60s look – I have been watching a lot of Hitchcock lately. I took inspiration from the graphic clothing styles that are a trend this season paired with the hair I saw on the runways of Luis Vuitton and Marc Jacobs.

TIPS/TECHNIQUE: “First, I applied Living Proof Prime Style Extender, it gave me the sleek, smooth, healthy hair I needed for styling. I then applied No Frizz Weightless Styling Spray to the crown to keep the hair looking smooth. I dried the hair straight with a large round brush.  I created a deep side swept bang, and then pulled the hair back into a classic French twist with an uneven seam. Everything else about the look was so perfect and sleek that I wanted the seam to be a little deconstructed. Finally, I secured the look and added Firm Hold hairspray to keep the hair in place.
