Get the Look: Sarah Jessica Parker at the Met Ball 2012.

Makeup Artist Leslie Lopez created the makeup for Sarah Jessica Parker for the 2012 Met Ball using CHANEL products.

I was inspired by Sarah Jessica’s dress – the dress always tells you what to do with the makeup! It reminded me of a party in Versailles, so I didn’t want to do anything too harsh…we wanted her to be fresh and beautiful – garden chic!

I started by prepping her skin with CHANEL Sublimage La Creme Texture Supreme and used it on her neck as well. Sarah Jessica’s skin looks gorgeous, so I used CHANEL Vitalumiere Aqua Ultra-Light Skin Perfecting Makeup SPF 15 in Beige 30 only in the places she really needed it and applied it very lightly, followed by my favorite product CHANEL Long Lasting Concealer in Beige Ivoire. I used a pink blush on her cheeks and then topped that off with Exclusive Creation Soleil Tan de Chanel Luminous Bronzing Powder in Sable Rose and applied that to the temples of her forehead.

For the eyes, I applied CHANEL Quadra Eyeshadow in Lilium. I used the minty green shade all over her eyes and then the dark shades in the crease and in the middle of the eye.

I finished the look by using CHANEL Rouge Coco Shine Sheer Lipshine in Chance, a fresh pinky shade and then I dabbed a bit of CHANEL Glossimer in Sirocco, a gorgeous beigy gold shade, in the middle of the lips for a soft pop.

Get the Look: Rosario Dawson at the Met Ball 2012.

Hair stylist Oscar Blandi did Rosarios Dawson’s hair for the 2012 Met Ball.

INSPIRATION: To complement the high neckline of her leather Calvin Klein dress, Oscar created a sleek, understated chignon.

STEP-BY-STEP:
Step 1: Prep the hair with Oscar Blandi Volumizing Spray.
Step 2: Blow-dry the hair with an emphasis on the roots to create lift and a solid foundation, but leave the ends of the hair damp.
Step 3: Create a left side part and pull the hair back into a ponytail just above the nape of the neck.
Step 4: Spray the ponytail with Oscar Blandi Jasmine Protein Mist. Combine a dime size of gel and a few drops of Oscar Blandi Jasmine Oil Serum in your hand and run it through the ponytail. This combination will harden the hair and give it the perfect amount of shine on the carpet.
Step 5: Split the ponytail into three parts and braid it; twist the braid into a chignon and secure it in place with bobby pins.
Step 6: Finish the look by spraying Oscar Blandi Lacca Hairspray all over to keep style in place.

Get the Look: "I started by putting Kerastase Volumactive Mousse and Oscar Blandi Volumizer in wet hair.  Then I finger waved the front of the hair pinning the waves in place . Then I dried the hair with a diffuser, and after the hair was dry I sectioned off the front of the hair from the ear forwar, and left it out. I then continued by taking the back sectionof the hair and rolling it up using bobby pins to create a bob like shape. After that I pinned the front of the hair into the back of the hair to finish off the bob. I used Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray at the end to finish and hold the style for the night this adds shine and great hold!"
