Get the Look: Amy Adams at the Oscars.

Amy Adams was one of the very few who wore some color at the Academy Awards last nights. Her overall look was total glam. Stunning.

To get the look that Amy Adams wore at the Oscar's, check out this step-by-step from CoverGirl Makeup Artist Molly R. Stern.

First of all I have to say I was the most excited I have ever been this morning. I couldn't sleep a wink. I was dreaming about Amy's makeup.

I started by prepping the face with Jurlique citrus spray to give the face a healthy lift then I gave Amy a light facial massage with La Mer moisturizing lotion.

Next I based her face with YSL perfect touch #2. Then l blushed her cheeks with Chantecaille Aqua Blush in Frivolous as a peachy base with Chantecaille Sesame peach eyeshadow over top.
Her eyes are based with NARS cream eyeshadow in Maracaibo. Over that I blended Shu Uemura shadow in gray 960 mixed with shu uemura shadow in purple 700 all over the lid up into the crease. With a flat shadow brush I added a touch of NARS shadow in Ondine on the inside corner of her lid to give the eye a little gold hint. I lined the top and underneath of her eye with Trish McEvoy's Arabian nights definer. To
soften the line underneath I added a soft smudge of Suqqu lavender shadow in #27. On her lashes I put 1 soft coat of CoverGirl Exact Eyelights Mascara in Black Ruby.

On her lip I based her lip with La Mer lipbalm then applied a thin coat of Outlast Lipstain by CoverGirl in Plum Pout. Then a sheer layer of Shu Uemura wine lip color in 265 with a dot of CoverGirl Wetslicks AmazeMint in Plum Crazy at the center of her lip for a little extra pout. That's also what she took in her bag for touch ups.

Inspiration. A cross between Talouse Latrec's dancing girls and the watercolor feeling of a Gustav Klimt painting.

The day was amazing. My goal was to make sure that her makeup was saturated but not overdone. I wanted to give her a face without competing with the dress.

The plum and purple makeup is so unexpected when worn with red. But with her beautiful hair and skin tone, it made her eyes simply, pop. I loves this look! And it wants me to try CoverGirl Exact eyelights Mascara in Black Ruby pronto.

Heidi Klum at the Oscars.

Is Heidi Klum ravishing in red, or what?

Heidi attended the Oscars as part of Diet Coke’s Heart Truth campaign to educate women about the risks of heart disease, the number one killer of women in the United States. She wore a red dress by designer Roland Mouret to raise awareness about the cause and has designed a Red Dress Charm of diamonds and rubies that is available to win at DietCoke.com

Additionally, for this year’s Oscars, Heidi has gifted the Best Actress nominees, on behalf of Victoria’s Secret of course, a Victoria’s Secret Vintage Victoria Push-up Bra in Wineberry and Blush Pink embellished with a diamond and pearl pin as the centerpiece. A matching thong completes the look.

Klum designed the fine jewelry piece attached to the center of the new Vintage Victoria Push-up Bra especially for this year’s nominees. The broach, which can also be worn as a hair pin, reflects the Hollywood glamour and sophistication that the leading ladies of Hollywood have long portrayed. The piece consists of pear-shape diamonds, black pearls and rare rose-cut grey diamonds set in 18K white gold with black rhodium.

The beautiful Vintage Victoria Lingerie Gift Set by Heidi Klum was presented to the Best Actress nominees the week before Oscars and has a retail value of $6,000. WOW!

Now, onto the good stuff. Let's get the look from Make-up artist Linda Hay. Linda wanted to bring out on Heidi’s dramatic eyes and also incorporate the powder pink color of the coral and diamond Lorraine Schwartz jewelry on the lips and cheeks. Linda sought to create a look that was light and dewy while still modern and sexy.

HOW TO GET THE LOOK:

EYES

Linda began by lining the top and bottom lashes with Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Eyeliner in Dark Chocolate and highlighting the inside triangle of the eye with a shimmering nude eye shadow in Champagne. She then used the Victoria Secret Spring Look Eye Shadow Quad to highlight the eyes and

Oh No! What Happened? Not Looking so Great at the Oscar's.

What happened here? I have three looks that made me say, hmmm.

First, I need to say - or scream: Make her stop! Lisa Rinna has a rockin' bod and really is very striking. But she has just injected too much (of what - I don't know!) into her face, cheeks and lips. And her hair? Did they forget to brush out the curls???

Next up is Jessica Biel. She is so beautiful, but her makeup and hair just didn't seem as put together as it could have been. And that dress. Did she spill something and she is trying to hide the stain? Or, perhaps she is hiding a little bun in the oven.

Finally, Miss SJP. Sarah Jessica Parker. I love it all, really I do. But every time she moved "the girls" came a spilling out just a little bit more. Could she not have found something that fit just a bit better?
