Pop Beauty Smokey Rose Wallet.

Pop Beauty’s Smokey Rose Wallet was one of my picks for Mother's Day as this beauty is definitely a multi-taker. But as I have been going to it more and more, I thought I would write more about it.

The classy crock wallet is really a full face kit with all you need to create a soft smokey rose look. The cheek and lip colors are coordinated to work flawlessly with the 12 select eye shades, making anything you pick work. And if you might have a hard time, the back of the wallet contains detailed instructions on how to create a foolproof smokey rose look.

The kit contains 12 eye shades, 4 cheek glows, 1 berry stain and 1 baby pink lip glow. Plus a full size pro duo eye brush for making the shades glide on beautifully.

Pop Beauty’s founder Sara Strand even gave me some application tips and tricks to make this wallet and the shades work together seamlessly.

Use any of the 4 eyeliners to line and define eye shape
Apply medium toned color onto lid and blend into crease with brush that is included
Sweep light color over brow bone, in the corner of the eye and dot in the middle of the eye to open up eye
Apply nude cheek color all over cheekbone and the pink color on the apples of the cheeks only
Finally stain lips with cranberry stain and dot pastel pink in the middle of top and bottom lip for a plumper look

Smokey Rose Wallet is exclusively sold in Sephora and online at sephora.com.

Packaging Grievance's.

Forgive my rant. If you don't like to hear me complain, then just bypass this post. But I have a grievance.

I need to make a complaint to the packaging and/or art designers for many of the cosmetic products.

Seriously, I am tired of having to squint my eyes and scan the product packages (usually the outer carton, box, or back of the bottle or jar) for not only the name of the product and what it is used for, but for the directions. Scanning through the small print and multiple languages is a waste of my time. I can understand if a product is say a French product that is sold in both the United States and France. Print one side of the box in English and the other side in French. I do not need to sift my way through 5 or 6 languages to see what I need.

It really is frustrating.

Make it easier for us, the consumer. If I can not go into Sephora and pick up a skin care item, read what it is, what is is used for, and how to use it - then I would not buy it. Plain and simple.

Am I the only one who feels this way?

Bobbi Brown Bronzed Pink Look.

If I had to describe my favorite Summer look this would be it. I think Bobbi knows me - all too well in fact. Um, except for the fact that I would probably go a bit heavier on the eyeliner - but that is just me.

The Bronzed Pink Look from Bobbi Brown just launched and it is screaming perfect Summer look. For day or night, dressed up or down, this is the ultimate, isn't it?

I know I will be picking up both of the new Metallic Eye Shadow's in Bronzed Pink and Penny - the colors are exactly what I am looking for. I love her Metallic shadows, do you remember the palettes she launched last year? I still use my Burnt Sugar Metallics palette at least once or twice during the week. The shadows are Metallic looking, not too frosty or overdone, and perfect for a woman of any age.

I am craving one of the Bronzers too. I do not have a Bobbi counter that close to me - a shame, I know - but I will be in Boston for a few days next week and I will be on the hunt for the closest counter to select the perfect one. The bronzer comes in five shades, and it really is hard to tell which one would compliment my faux tan; Light, Medium, Natural, Dark or Deep. I will let you know which one I end up with.

bobbi_brown_tinted_lip_balm.jpgThe Bronzed Pink Look also includes Tinted Lip Balm in Desert Bronze, Bronzed Pink and Golden Pink.

I love the look of the Golden Pink and the shade used on the model above is Desert Bronze, and I am really liking the overall look, so I will probably pick that up too. Ugh - who I am kidding, I am sure each one of these shaded will make it home with me.

Let me know if you already have any of the Bronzed Pink products yet or which ones you will be picking up.
