Maybelline Color Whisper Collection.

There is nothing more I love than a lipstick that wears like a lipstick but feels like a lip balm. I mean, if I am going to wear it, it might as well feel great right? That is why I am thrilled with the lipstick/lip balm hybrids as of late. There is a new one in town from Maybelline called Color Whisper. It is a different type of hybrid and it is all sorts of wonderful.

Maybelline Color Whisper Lipcolor

Color Whisper is different because it is a lipstick that suspends pure color pigments in a weightless gel. The result is a soft, diffused color with a bit of shine. The color is buildable. If you want a very light shade, just swipe it softly onto lips. If you want a more vibrant color, swipe it over lips a few times until you get the result you want. No matter how you wear it, the feel is wonderful and lightweight. Nourishing honey nectar keeps lips feeling super soft and natural - as if you were wearing lip balm.

There are 20 whisper soft shades that match the lipstick caps, so choosing the right color is easy. There are shades from nude to a beautiful red.

Pamper Skin this Winter with Skin Care from Lancôme.

It is cold out. Very cold. Think about what you skin goes through in the cold winter months. Think about what it goes through between the summer and the winter. At least here in the northeast, I am dealing with an average of 70 - 80 degree temperature differences. It wrecks havoc on my skin. This time of year I am reaching for more nourishing products, but don't want to sacrifice all the great ingredients. Lancôme has a host of products that are all pretty great for protecting and hydrating skin. These beauties are helping my skin get through.

Lancôme Rénergie Lift Multi-Action ($92-$112)
Restore your skin’s youthful energy with Rénergie Lift Multi-Action, a powerful tightening range developed to address key aging concerns: wrinkles and sagging skin. Formulated to lift, firm and smooth, the multi-tasking products promote younger, firmer looking skin in just 4 weeks. Together, the trio of products create a “lifted from within” effect for a smoother, more refined, ageless complexion.

  • Rénergie Lift Multi-Action shields skin during the day with broad spectrum SPF 15 protection.
  • Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Night restores skin’s youthful tone overnight, when skin’s ability to repair itself peaks.
  • Rénergie Lift Multi-Action Eye visibly smoothes wrinkles around the eyes, fades dark circles, and smoothes under-eye bags.

Lancôme Génifique Youth Activating Concentrate ($60-$130)
This serum intensely hydrates and promotes skin’s natural exfoliation. In just 7 days, your skin will appear younger and lit from within as well as feel cushiony soft and velvety to the touch.

Lancôme Absolue Hand ($43)
Pamper your hands with this ultra-luxurious hand cream that lessens the look of age spots, while providing replenishing moisture and SPF 15 protection. A formula rich with Soy and Sea Algae helps reinforce elasticity and firmness, while Wild Yam intensely hydrates. Instantly, hands feel softer, suppler and relieved of uncomfortable dryness with a more even-toned, luminous look of youth.

Products are all available at Lancôme counters and online at lancome-usa.com.

Getting Red Carpet Ready and the Grammy's TONIGHT.

Will you be watching the Grammy's tonight? I was invited to a few Grammy viewing parties. I'm sad that I can't be there in NYC with them. :( I will be following along! You can too. Chat live with @COVERGIRL, @herbalessences and @OlayUS on Twitter and make sure you use the hash tag #grammyglam to join in all the fun.

That brings me to think about "Awards Season". It is definitely in full swing. With the Golden Globe Awards a few weeks ago (see the looks of our favorite celebs), the SAG Awards, the Academy Awards coming up in a few weeks, and the Grammy's tonight; women are gearing up for their time in the spotlight. Did you know that over 16,000 will attend at least one of the top five award shows this year alone? Think of all the beauty products that these women are using. I can't even comprehend how much lipstick, mascara, hairspray, etc. is used. Not to mention the things we take for granted like shampoo, body wash and deodorant. I am betting it is a ton of product.

The beauty brains over at P&G Beauty actually pulled together a ton of information. They've told me that there will be more than 100,000 lipstick applications, at least 328 sticks of deodorant used and more than 170 bottles of body wash lathered in order to get our favorite beauties ready for the shows! Crazy right?

For exclusive award show content, including which products were used on celebs and the beauty tricks the pros used on them, be sure to check out the following Facebook pages: COVERGIRL, Herbal Essences and Olay.
