Get the Look: Lea Michele at the 2013 Golden Globes.

Lea Michele looked like a bronze goddess in her sparkly white "slit up to there" Elie Saab gown. Her makeup was created by Makeup Artist Melanie Inglessis for L'Oreal Paris.

Melanie purposefully created a ‘goddess’ beauty look that was beautiful and healthy to complement Lea’s white, lace gown

STEP-BY-STEP:

STEP 1: To create luminous, dewy skin, Melanie dampened a makeup sponge before applying Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation – she used a blend of two shades, #8 and # 6 ($59.00 each)

STEP 2: Melanie created a natural looking smoky eye by blending hues of champagne, baby pink and rich, warm chocolates.  She used L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Eye Quad in 103 Good Luck Charm ($7.95) and L’Oréal Paris Infallible 24-Hour Eyeshadow in Bottomless Java ($7.95).  The Infallible shadow was smudged at the corners to create an effortless looking smoky eye.

STEP 3: Lea’s lashes were lengthened with L’Oréal Paris Shocking Extensions Mascara in Blackest Black ($9.95); one coat was applied to bottom lashes for definition

STEP 4: Melanie applied just a hint of L’Oréal Paris The Super Slim Liner by Infallible ($8.95) to create just a bit of definition near the lashes

STEP 5: For cheeks, Melanie blended two shades of L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Blush - Pink Lift and Nude Lift – ($12.95) and applied to the apples of cheeks for a natural flush

STEP 6: Melanie swiped on NEW! Giorgio Armani Flash Lacquer Lip Gloss in 526 (available in March 2013) onto Lea’s lips to create the perfect pink pout

STEP 7: And for her overall glow, Melanie dusted YSL’s Terre Saharienne Bronzing Powder in Golden Sand ($50.00)

Get the Look: Jennifer Lopez at the 2013 Golden Globes.

Jennifer Lopez looked sleek and sexy in her barely there Zuhair Murad white gown. Her hair and makeup were flawless and were both created with products by L'Oreal Paris.

Makeup Artist Mary Phillips at the Magnet Agency did her glowy makeup.

For Jennifer’s makeup, Mary was inspired by Jennifer’s natural glowy skin to create a classic understated look with nude lips and a smoky eye. Jennifer wore a daring nude lace dress by Zuhair Murad that accentuated her curves and complemented her olive skin tone.

STEP-BY-STEP:

STEP 1: Mary prepped Jennifer’s skin with L’Oréal Paris Revitalift Miracle Blur ($24.99) creating a virtually flawless complexion

STEP 2: Since Jennifer’s dress was white and nude, Mary warmed up Jennifer’s skin using L’Oréal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Makeup in Caramel Beige ($10.95)

STEP 3: To create the classic Jennifer Lopez glow, Mary used L’Oréal Paris Super-Blendable True Match Crayon Concealer in Fair/Light Warm ($8.95) to brighten up the under-eye area and illuminate the cheek bones

STEP 4: Mary used a small amount of L’Oréal Paris Visible Lift Color Lift Blush in Nude Lift ($12.95)  on Jennifer’s cheeks to add a hint of color and sheen

STEP 5: As a focus for the look, Mary used several colors of the L’Oréal Paris Colour Riche Eye Shadow Quads ($7.95) including Cupa Joe as a base and Black Pump around the outer corners

STEP 6: Towards the lashline, Mary added L’Oréal Paris Infallible Eye Shadow in Eternal Black ($7.95) to create depth and sculpt the eyes around the crease

STEP 7: To further define the eyes, Mary used the L’Oréal Paris Super Slim Liner by Infallible ($8.95) on the top lids

STEP 8: To finish off the seductive smoky eye, Mary used the L’Oréal Paris Telescopic Shocking Extensions Mascara ($9.95) on both the top and bottom lashes

STEP 9: Mary kept the lips very warm and neutral with a nude lip using L’Oréal Paris Colour Caresse Shine Stain in Eternally Nude ($9.99)

Her hair was done by Hairstylist Lorenzo Martin.

INSPIRATION: Going into the night, Lorenzo was inspired by old Hollywood look to create a look that would complement Jennifer’s captivating Zuhair Murad gown. Lorenzo turned to a deep side part to modernize the old Hollywood look of the romantic waves.

STEP-BY-STEP:

STEP 1: Lorenzo prepped Jennifer’s hair with the L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Triple Resist Shampoo and Conditioner ($4.99 each). Then while hair was wet, Lorenzo used the L’Oréal Paris Advanced Haircare Triple Resist Ultimate Strength Solution ($6.99) to reinforce the hair prior to styling

STEP 2: Lorenzo applied a quarter size amount of L’Oréal Paris EverCurl Sculpt & Hold Cream-Gel ($8.99) to condition the hair and prep it for being curled

STEP 3: Curled using a 1 inch curling iron and then gently sprayed L’Oréal Paris EverStyle Texture Series Beach Spray ($6.99) to each section helping to hold the curl and add texture

STEP 4: For each curl created, Lorenzo pinned the curl to the scalp using a bobby pin. When all curls were created, Lorenzo sprayed L’Oréal Paris Elnett Satin Strong Hold ($14.99) approximately six inches from the scalp. Curls set for 15 minutes, then released

STEP 5: Once curled are released, Lorenzo took a medium round brush and brushed out the curls to create volume

STEP 6: Creating a deep side part, Lorenzo parted the hair to the side and used bobby pins to hold hair in palce

STEP 7:  To finish the look, Lorenzo sprayed the L’Oréal Paris EverStyle Strong Hold Styling Spray ($6.99) to add shine and set the curls

Get the Look: Naomi Watts at the 2013 Golden Globes.

I loved Naomi Watts updated sideswept bob that she showed off on the red carpet of the Golden Globe Awards.

Her hair was created by Hair Stylist Giannandrea Marongiu for Matrix.

Going into the night, both stylist Giannandrea Marongiu and Naomi Watts knew they wanted to create a classic look. He turned to old Hollywood greats, such as Carole Lombard, for inspiration, creating a faux, side-swept bob. Describing the look as “a bit more modern than old-Hollywood,” Giannandrea gently brushed out the curls for an updated take on a classic style.

STEP-BY-STEP:

STEP 1: Starting with wet hair, sprayed Matrix Total Results Blonde Care Flash Filler ($16, Available in February) evenly throughout the hair before blow drying in order to “enhance and bring out Naomi’s blonde color”

STEP 2: Applied Matrix Total Results Amplify Foam Volumizer ($15) throughout the roots and partially down the length to create volume and all-night hold

STEP 3: Using a medium round brush, blow dried hair in sections to create soft fullness

STEP 4: Created a deep side part

STEP 5: Curled hair using a ½ inch curling iron, gently spraying Matrix Total Results Amplify Hairspray($15) on each section before curling to gently and softly hold the curls while also providing shine

STEP 6: Gently brushed out hair so waves were soft, feminine and modern

STEP 7: Put Matrix Design Pulse Mega Dust ($15) on a boar bristle brush and brushed through hair very gently in order to stretch the waves and give it texture

STEP 8: Taking a pea-size amount of Biolage ExquisiteOil Replenishing Treatment ($22), gently ran hands over hair to tame flyaways and provide a subtle, weightless shine

STEP 9: Tied rubber band halfway down the length and folded hair up and under in order to create a faux bob; pinned hair in place at the nape of the neck so pins did not show

STEP 10: Shaped the waves around the face in order to finish off the classic Hollywood look.

Celebrity nail expert Tracey Sutter created the look for Watts nails. Tracey used Sally Hansen Complete Salon Manicure in Arm Candy to create a natural effect.

To get the look, Sutter filed down Naomi's nails very short before applying Sally Hansen's Cuticle Instant Remover.  Next, Sutter applied 2 coats of Sally Hansen's new Complete Salon Manicure Nail Color in Arm Candy - giving Watts just the right amount of color she wanted.
