Highlighters meet metallics in this stunning new Banc De Sable Highlighter Palette from NARS. To say that I am obsessed with how these three illuminating highlighters wear on the skin is an understatement.

Did I say three? You may see three highlighters in the Banc De Sable Highlighter Palette, but these opalescent shades can be used wet or dry, so there are really six shades here, and of course, they can be layered and mixed, so the variations are endless. The highlighters are water-activated; dust the shades on for a light, subtle sheen or glide them on wet and be wowed by the metallic wonder. They feel weightless either way and are offer a beautiful glow; the intensity level depends on how you apply, which tool you use and how much layering you do.

The three shades include Rivage, a glistening pearl; Salé, a shimmering peach champagne; Embruns, a metallic rose gold.

While I am typically drawn to lighter shades, I feel that Rivage shimmers too much on my skin, so I have been using Salé over blush or Embruns over bronzer for an illuminated look. These highlighters add the perfect amount of glow to the skin while not being overly shimmery and aging the skin. I am very careful with the highlighters that I use and how much I use. I cannot use these wet as that s too intense for me, but dusted on dry with a fan brush or NARS Yachiyo Brush, these are stunning.
