If you are looking to reduce fine lines and wrinkles in your skin, there is one ingredient that needs to be incorporated into your skincare routine and that is Vitamin C. I am talking about topical Vitamin C, not the kind that you get from oranges.
The issue with topical Vitamin C is that they are not all created equal. One topical Vitamin C product that I have always trusted is Kiehl's Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate, and this best-selling skincare product is new and improved with now more Vitamin C plus Hyaluronic Acid.
I've used Kiehl's Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate for many years. I was quite excited about the increased amount of Vitamin C in this serum. And I LOVE that Hyaluronic was added to the formula as well. I feel that it gives the formula a bit of slip, plus make it more comfortable.
If you have never used a topical Vitamin C product, here is the bit of science that you should know.
In skincare, and in this product, Kiehl's uses Vitamin Cg, or Ascorbyl Glucoside as the main ingredient. Ascorbyl Glucoside is a Vitamin C derivative that activates as soon as it is absorbed into the top layers of the skin. Ascorbyl Glucoside offers a ton of antioxidant benefits which helps to reduce facial lines plus protect skin against other environmental damage.
The longer you use it, the better the results.
When first starting out with a topical Vitamin C product, especially with one that has such a high concentration of Vitamin C like Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate, you may notice a bit of stinging upon application.
If this is bothersome, cut back to using the product every other day until tolerated and build up to using twice a day. Trust me, it is so worth working a topical Vitamin C product into your routine and Kiehl's Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate is one of the best I have tried.
