All About the Eyes: 5 of the Best from Kiehl's.

DateJuly 27, 2009 | written by AuthorTeri Cosenzi, Editor | CommentPost a Comment | Share ArticleShare This

When it comes to targeted treatments, Kiehl's is a brand I turn to often. Their products are made with a purpose, not just because, well they need to add another product to a line. They create products that customers come back for, because they work.

While Kiehl's has a number of targeted products that work on the eye area, there are 5 products in their line up that are my favorite.

Line-Reducing Eye Brightening Concentrate - Notice how the word concentrate is in the title, as this is a very heavy duty concentrated cream. A tiny bit goes a long way, but works. With 10.5% Pure Vitamin C and Haloxyl, which stimulates natural enzymes in the thin skin around the eyes, this almost instantly perks my eyes up.  Long term, crows feet and wrinkles are diminished while the entire eye area takes on a brighter appearance. If you struggle with dark circles, this is the formula to try first. $40

Cryste Marine Firming Eye Treatment - To firm under the eyes and combat puffiness, make the area more elastic and young looking, this super thick cream can do it. I love the cooling feeling I get when using this cream and the way that my wrinkles seem to fill in after applying that this cream is perfect for morning use. Full of Kiehl's exclusive Criste Marine and Vitamins C and E, Shea Butter and Caffeine, your eyes will thank you as the overall eye look is softened. $36

Eye Alert - This one is for the men, but shhh.... I love it too. In this little blue tube is a lightweight lotion that hydrates the thinner skin of the eye area while waking it up with a bit of caffeine, Vitamin E, Cucumber Extract and Vitanol. It does a fine job working on dark circles and puffiness. $20

Abyssine Cream - If you want to concentrate on diminishing the look of the wrinkles and lines around the eyes, Abyssine Cream is the way to go. With the potent antioxidant Abyssine 657, this lighter weight cream works to combat against all of the things that your eye area all wrinkled in the first place. It also contains broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 23 protection to protect the eyes from further damage. $45

Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado - If you suffer at all with an overly dry eye area, like I do in the winter, this super rich, thick and creamy treatment will moisturize the delicate eye area. It feels both soothing and refreshing when applied and instantly hydrates the eye area. It can be used day and night and also layered with a more targeted eye treatment if you need it. $24.50

All of my Kiehl's eye faves are available at Kiehl's freestanding stores, Kiehls.com as well as select department stores such as Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom.
