Jane Iredale Fresh-Squeezed Gloss for Eyes and Lips.

I know that summer is pretty much over - wahh - but it doesn't mean that the time for bright and pretty color has ended too. Such is the case with jane iredale’s Fresh-squeezed Color collection of PureGloss for Lips and Eyes.

Unlike other glosses which can be sticky and heavy, jane iredale PureGloss for Lips ($19.00) features a lightweight formula that hydrates the lips without the use of petroleum, while grape seed and pomegranate extracts act as antioxidants to keep lips protected. With 19 shades in all, there is a shade for you.

Add a pop of color to your eyelids by swiping jane iredale Eye Gloss ($15.00) across the lids in one of the eight sumptuous, silky shades available.

The colors are bright, but on the softer side of bright. Look at a few that I have been using.

Pure Gloss: Sugar Plum, Apricot Fizz

Eye Gloss: Champagne Silk, Wine Silk

24 Karat Gold Dust Powder from Jane Iredale.

For the most gorgeous rose gold shimmer like no other, you need to try this powder.

Not only does Jane Iredale make some of the best mineral powders out there, her 24 Karat Gold Dust Powders go above and beyond "ordinary" mineral makeup. These beauties are really in a class on their own.

My favorite shade is Rose Gold. This is the perfect light pink, shimmery gold powder that glides on so beautifully. The shimmer is subtle, but buildable at the same time.

If you want more shimmer, add on a few layers without having to worry about the color deepening too much. Or just sweep it on over cheekbones and the bridge of your nose as a final golden touch. I love to use it that way, especially when trying to "warm" my look up in the colder months. Another one of my favorite tricks is to mix this mineral powder with a bit of clear lip balm or gloss for a beautiful lip color - like no other.

24 Karat Powder is so very easy to work with and really can be used however you wish. You can dust some over your shoulders, into your hair, use it as an eyeshadow, as a blush, or as a finishing powder or gloss as I suggested.

I would be remiss if I did not note that this beauty is inside this edition of BeautyFix, as well as the other products that I have reviewed so far in BeautyFix as well: NOC-Out Cover-Up, PerriconeMD Firming Neck Therapy, Kronos Phyx Overnight Repair Masque.

24-Karat Gold - BABY!

gold_dust.jpgI was looking for a little bit of subtle sparkle for New Years Eve last night, and I found it in Jane Iredale's 24-Karat Gold Dust in Gold. And what is truly amazing about this Gold Dust is that it is made with real 24-Karat Gold Leaf.

I swept it over my cheeks, eyelids, chest and shoulders for the big night.  I also patted a bit of it over my lipstick for the evening (Mally's Zooey Doll - the perfect red for my fair skin). I not only looked luxurious, I felt it!

I love how you can totally control the amount of sparkle you wear by simply punching out only a few of the holes in the top of the sifter disc. I never thought of that, but it is instructed right on the package. Love it!
