If you are traveling at all by air this Summer, listen up. You see, when you fly the friendly skins, the air is not that friendly to your skin. The extenuating circumstances that can cause dryness and travel-stressed skin due extreme humidity levels, dry cabin air and jet lag can take its toll on skin and cause it to become dry, uncomfortable – unhealthy. Not a good thing.

While there are a great number of travel friendly (sized) products out there, I had yet to find any that were created soley for this purpose, until now.

I have been obsessed with finding a new tinted moisturizer for this Summer. Not that I am totally un-happy with DuWop Revolotion Face (my tinted moisturizer fave for last year), it is just that it is almost sometimes too thick.

After trying a few new ones already this year, I think I can officially claim my favorite as this: CHANEL HYDRAMAX + ACTIVE TEINTÉ Active Moisture Tinted Lotion SPF 15.

I love the light, non-greasy formula. This product is easily applied with my fingertips or a sponge for a bit blending - making it a fast alternative to foundation. It also delivers the right amount of hydration for my dry skin, with sun protection and the perfect of coverage to give my complexion a finished glow. Just the perfect blend of everything.

With my faux-tan, Sand is my perfect shade. Shade is the medium shade with two others shades, Bronzelit and Sunlit available as well. $55 seems to be a bit much, but thinking of it as not just a makeup product and a CHANEL Precision Skincare moisturizer where no other daytime moisturizer is needed, then it is very well worth it.

Formulated to calm stressed skin, Skyn Iceland's Pure Cloud Cream is in one word - a dream.

After a week in the rain, wind, snow, and bitter cold; my itchy, overly dry and sensitive skin needed help. I grabbed this jar of Cloud Cream hoping that my skin would get some sort of relief. Upon opening and taking in the beautiful light and fresh scent, and then feeing how cushiony the cream felt in the jar, I was so excited to scoop right in and I slathered a pretty generous amount all over my face and neck.

My skin immediately felt satisfied. It felt quenched and looked brighter - just as I smoothed it on. After a full day of makeup, my skin still felt great, but I still could not wait to remove the makeup and apply more of this cream. It really felt that good.

I used Skyn Iceland's Pure Cloud Cream for three mornings and nights, to only start to use something else, as I have to often switch my moisturizers up to bring on all the reviews.  This is when I noticed that my skin did not feel as nice as it previously did, and I know it was craving the relief I got when I used the Cloud Cream. 

If your skin is at all stressed from the elements or sensitive after a cosmetic treatment or procedure, you must give Cloud Cream a try. I do not know what exactly does the trick - whether it is the aloe and oat extracts or the peptides that help skin immediately feel so good. Like I said, it is a dream, and however it works, it's wonders is more than enough for me.

A firming moisturizing primer that makes makeup apply smoother and last longer. This is Moisturelush from MAC.

With a fresh scent and totally smooth, milky texture, this light cream which is more lotion like then cream like, almost immediately sinks into skin. My makeup did apply smoother and my face felt more moisturized instantly, as well.

Moisturelush Eye Cream - $30
A richly hydrating eye cream with optical effects. Rejuvenates, reconditions and refreshes. Visibly lifts and firms skin around the eyes: helps reduce early morning/late night puffiness and balance the skin’s moisture levels. Provides long-lasting moisture.

This is little darker in color than the cream, and it is definitely more of a heavy cream. This sinks into skin pretty quickly, and firms the skin around your eyes - to the point where it looks and feels smoother and tighter not long after it is applied. My concealer looked better than ever. This cream is truly amazing. I still used my regular eye cream right after my shower as there is usually some lag time before I get to applying makeup.  

If you haven't turned to MAC for it's skin care items before, you will once you try this. 

Once in a while an innovation blows me away. From the packaging to the ingredients, my feelings for this new night cream from Elizabeth Arden's PREVAGE line run deep. With the Elizabeth Arden PREVAGE Anti-Aging Night Cream, my skin has taken on a new meaning. A look of refinement, luminosity and fresh looking. Amazing.
