Cleanse and Clear Up Skin with Neutrogena.

You know, teens are not the only ones affected by acne. Did you know that adult acne affects 25% of adult men and 50% of adult women?

How to Properly Cleanse And Clear Up Your Skin

I consider myself lucky. I never had acne as a teen and can count on my hand how many times I've had a pimple on my face. This is rare, I know. Many friends my age are dealing with a lot of hormonal acne right now and are trying some unconventional methods to deal with it. Did you ever hear of using toothpaste or glass cleaner on a zit? That doesn't work. Nor will sun dry up breakouts. And guess what? You can wear makeup if you have acne. It will not make it worse.

What you need are the right products and consistent use. Every night, take off the day and cleanse skin with solutions that are proven to work. One of these Neutrogena beauties will be right for you and your acne prone skin.

Cleanse and Clear Up Skin with Neutrogena

Neutrogena Ultra Gentle Daily Cleanser
This gentle foaming cleanser removes makeup, dirt and oil from even the most sensitive or acne prone skin. It was dermatologist developed just for sensitive skin types, actually. It rinses away clean without over-drying and simply leaves skin soft.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Cleansing Wipes
If you like cleansing wipes, these will do the trick. These great smelling, thick wipes, wipe away acne-causing sweat, dirt and oil and they work anywhere. I suggest keeping a few in your purse or gym bag to get rid of those real acne causing culprits on the go.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash
This acne cleanser is the #1 dermatologist recommended cleanser. It combines a salicylic acid treatment and gentle cleanser in one formula. It eliminates oil and unclogs pores as it helps to prevent further breakouts from happening.

Neutrogena products can be found at your favorite drugstore or mass retailer.

I hate having adult acne. I am on the verge of going to the doctor because this is ridiculous!
I have used that liquid wash for years and it is what I believe really got my acne under control finally. I can't say enough good things about it. I buy the really large size at Costco.
Lea - If you cannot get your acne under control, I highly suggest going to the dermatologist. There are so many hormonal issues that could be at the root of it and a doctor will help.
Pamela - Glad to hear it works for you. It's been in my boys' shower for year and keeps their skin clean and clear for sure.
This is an awesome post! Thanks for the tips! I'm 16 and have teenage acne (obviously)... What I find best for the treatment of acne spots (blemishes, zits, pimples, and acne scars) is the Mary Kay Acne Treatment tube. Its only $7 online and totally worth every penny. It disinfects, reduces redness & swelling, and makes scars disappear almost over night. By morning you can totally tell the difference. With in a day in a half the zit/pimple/scar is practically gone! Now - for a facial cleaner I use Nuetrogena Grapefruit Exfoliating Scrub. I pair this with Mary Kay's facial moisturizer.. I have very sensitive skin and I find this works pretty well. Although I do tend to have either TOO dry of skin or TOO oily of skin - so I need to find a good toner. Oh and I use Burt's Bees facial wipes late at night to remove oil/dirt/makeup if I come in late and just need a quick clean up haha! I love both the Camille wipes & the Grapefruit wipes by Burt's Bees they leave the skin clean & hydrated! :)
