NARS makes a great eyeshadow formula, so when they set out to reinvent the wheel and come up with an entire new eyeshadow for their Dual-Intensity Eyeshadow formula, I could not wait to try it. I mean, two eyeshadows in one?
You see each Dual-Intensity eyeshadow can be worn wet or dry, meaning you can apply the shadow like you normally apply a powder eyeshadow dry, or you can wet your shadow brush and apply it wet for more intensity. With both of the shades I tried, Andromeda and Dione, both were obviously more intense when used wet. They were each very well pigmented when used dry as well. They are very soft and easy to blend when used either way. I've found that the best way to apply is by using this brush for consistent results.
Andromeda is a beautiful soft vanilla shade that looks a bit dark but really pops when used wet. Dione is such a gorgeous champagne shade with a bit of sparkle to it that really wows and turns almost metallic when used wet. I really like both shades.
There are 12 Dual-Intensity shades in all.
- Andromeda - Alabaster
- Cassiopeia - Iridescent electric pink
- Himalia - Shimmering topaz
- Phoebe - Deep shimmering amethyst
- Europa - Gossamer pink peach
- Callisto - Icy pink silver
- Lysithea - Shark grey
- Giove - Navy
- Dione - Metallic champagne beige
- Desdemona - Rich shimmering burgundy
- Syncorax - Black
- Subra - Black orchid
