If there is one thing that I pay attention to more in the summer than I do during the rest of the year, it is my "hair situation'.

When I speak of my "hair situation', I am talking about body hair. Oh yes, the dreaded body hair situation.

From underarm hair, leg hair, bikini line hair and any other hair on the body that needs to be GONE, I refer to it as my "hair situation". It is a situation that needs to be dealt with and stat, especially as the summer rolls around.

I need my skin to be soft, smooth and hair free at ALL TIMES.

Lately, I have been keeping my "hair situation" in check with help from a few products from Bliss. Bliss has a lot of products designed to keep our skin soft and smooth, but did you know that they make products designed to keep your skin free of hair AND soft and smooth after removing hair?

Did you also know that Bliss products are now carried at Target? WOO HOO!

If you shop at a Target store, like I do, you probably have noticed the pretty Bliss blue and white packaging on an end cap in the beauty aisle recently. I was thrilled when I saw it!

I digress. Back to my "hair situation" and how Bliss has been helping me to take care of it.

I have been regularly using the Bliss Poetic Waxing Hair Removal Kit. In fact, the Poetic Waxing Kit was the very first Bliss product that I used about 20 years ago. It's been a part of my summer "hair situation" regimen ever since. It's one of those products that I rarely mention and I don't know why. I don't think I talk about hair removal enough. It is something we do all the time; I do it just about every day.

Bliss Poetic Waxing Hair Removal Kit

The Bliss Poetic Waxing Hair Removal Kit is what I use on my bikini line.

I start by cleansing my skin with the Bliss Lemon & Sage Refreshing Body Wipes. Not only do they cleanse my skin, the pre-moistened, quick-drying cooling body wipes leave me feeling fresh.

The Hair Removal Kit is SO easy to use. It comes with a pre-filled microwaveable cup, applicators and pre and post-wax oil.

I swear to use, it is SUPER SIMPLE to use. If I can do it at home and keep my bikini line in check, you can too. The safe, low-temp wax was designed to wrap each follicle to remove even the shortest, coarsest and most stubborn hair from the root. I am rarely irritated.

The wax is formulated with Chamomile to make it gentle enough for the most sensitive skin.

A super important step in the hair removal process is after-care.

Immediately after waxing, I do apply the post-wax oil that comes in the kit, and 24 hours later, I start post-cleansing with the Bliss Bump Attendant Ingrown Eliminating Pads. I use this every day; it is SO important in maintaining smooth skin.

You know that you get bumps if you don't do something to treat them before they happen. These single-use pads are formulated with salicylic and glycolic acids to gently exfoliate and help prevent ingrown hairs for bump-free skin. Each pad is soaked in antioxidant green tea and lavender oil to soothe skin and keep redness away, too.

Bliss Your Situation Down Below Hair-Softening Oil & Bump Minimizer is a newer product that I haven't used yet, but I am really interested in adding it to my "hair situation" upkeep.

Bliss Your Situation Down Below is a 100% natural blend of hair-smoothing, skin-soothing oils that helps to keep pores clear and minimizing post-wax/post-shave bumps, redness and irritation down there. It is made with more than 10 oils for a silky-soft and conditioned situation. I do plan to put it to the test; I think I will use this a few days prior to waxing.
