In an unexpected collection, MAC has teamed up with The Simpsons in celebration of its 25th Anniversary for the MAC x The Simpsons Collection, available at all MAC locations today. I was surprised to see the collaboration and admit it is a bit out there -- from the names, though I am getting a kick out of them, to shades.
"Ladies, gentlemen and Rigellians, on the occasion of its 25th anniversary,M·A·C honours the one, the only, THE SIMPSONS! The names of the products are cute as I mentioned, and I do like a few shades, namely Red Blazer and Itchy & Scratchy & Sexy Lipglass. I'm really not into the eyeshadow palettes. On first sight, I thought I would like the Powder Blushes, but I found them to be more powder and too matte and too pale for even my NC30 skin tone.
My favorite product from the collection has to be the MAC Nail Stickers, Marge Simpson's Cutie-cles. I love the bright yellow, signature Simpsons yellow shade and the art outlines of the Simpsons characters on them. I wish they did a Yellow Nail Lacquer because I'm always looking for the perfect yellow shade and I think they could have nailed it with this one.
