Maybelline The Nudes Palette Review.

It seems that everyone brand has a nude or natural eyeshadow palette, but for a mass brand to put out a nude palette with 12 shades is a pretty huge deal. When I saw pictures of the Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette popping up last month, I knew I had to find it. I was shocked to find it at my local CVS/pharmacy not long after and I snatched up all three that they had and I am so glad that I did. This is a great palette for the price.

Maybelline The Nudes Palette

For under $15.00 (I paid $13.49, but I've read that others are finding it for just $9.99), twelve eyeshadows in natural shades of this quality is amazing. The shades range from a satin vanilla to matte black and most of them pack a lot of pigment. I like the range of taupes and the two metallics are perfect.

swatched without primer

To get the best wear and blendability of the shadows in the Maybelline The Nudes palette, you need to wear an eye primer with the shadows. I highly recommend either this one or this, my favorite eye primer. These will make application easier, help the shadows blend out more and ensure longer wear.

Look for the Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette at your favorite drugstore or mass retailer for $9.99 - $14.99 now.

I have been searching and searching for this palette! It looks like a good one and the price is incredible. I keep reading that a primer is needed for sure.
I have so many nautral palettes and this is my favorite. I need a backup!
I was impressed! AND it's cheap. Good job Maybelline. And it is so many shadows. Now I am expecting a lot of palettes from them. Why would you buy the tiny singles anymore? LOL I am glad to hear you like it.
Do you have a drug store eye primer that you would recommend?
