While I've spent the majority of this summer inside because it has rained, rained and rained some more, this weekend I have plans to spend the day out by the pool and then at the lake. We finally have a nice stretch of weather coming up and I plan to take advantage of it.

I have been taking advantage of a lot of end-of-summer sales (I love saving money, don't you?) and have been lucky enough to score some great deals on some of my favorite pool side musts!

I am obsessed with ruffles and off-the-shoulder looks this summer, and that has carried over to my swimwear. I had to pick up this bathing suit as soon as I saw it that it was 40% off. I spend so much time trying to get rid of past sun damage and preventing further spots, so a big hat and oversized sunglasses are a must when I am at the pool. Would you even believe that this hat is on clearance for $10???

For sunscreen, I usually use this or this (check CVS for special offers) and on my face, I've been using this daily moisturizer with SPF 50 in addition to this tinted moisturizer with SPF.

When I get out of the pool, I immediately apply a body moisturizer (scaly skin is not a good look), and I am newly obsessed with this Bum Bum Cream. If you follow me on Instagram, I have been obsessing over it all week; the scent is divine.
