I love a good makeup palette. It really is the best way to get a lot of makeup at a great value. And this is the time of year when brands are releasing some of their best products, including some really amazing makeup palettes. From palettes with new shades of eye shadow, popular shades of shadow, great shades of blush or contouring products, or even an entire face of makeup; palettes have SO much to offer. I have so many palettes in my makeup collection and I am always adding to it. These are the palettes that I have picked up or that have caught my eye so far this year and I consider them must haves for 2015!
This all matte palette has 12 gorgeous new long-wearing shades in it. These are not your average matte shadows; they are silky and apply and blend with ease. The colors are perfect for everyday but can be layered and played up if so desired.
The six beautiful shades in this palette were put together to create depth and drama. With a mix of deep, smoky shades and a few lighter shades to highlight, this one is a must for creating dramatic shades.

4. Too Faced Semi Sweet Chocolate Bar Eye Palette - $49.00
With a whopping 16 shadows, a mix of shimmer and matte shades, the cocoa powder infused shadows will have eyes popping. Mostly neutrals, the shadows are long wearing, blend and layer well and will become some of your favorite.
5. Smashbox Double Exposure Palette - $52.00
Upon first look, you see 14 shadows in this palette, but what you don't see is the coating technology infused in each shadow which makes them transform into a multi effect shadow when wet. That means you get 28 shades in this palette, as each shade really becomes different when wet. The shadows become metallic, much more vibrant, deeper and some even sparkle. I am in love!
6. Laura Mercier Flawless Contouring Palette - $50.00
This is a cream contouring palette that allows subtle contouring so that features can be defined simply and easily. If you have ever been afraid of highlighting and contouring, this is the palette for you as you cannot make a mistake. The creams blend in and make a difference without leaving harsh lines.
Marsala has been declared Pantone's color of the year. This color is very flattering for the cheeks, and this cheek palette is complementary with two shades of blush (one marsala) and a highlighter. It makes making cheeks pop this winter a breeze.

This unique shadow palette melds five shades of shadow together to allow for a creation of looks. You can apply the shades separately or take a fluffy brush and swipe is over all the shades for your own custom blend and apply it all over and finish with a dusting of highlighter beneath the brow bone -- it's a stunning look.
