YSL Babydoll Kiss & Blush.

I have a soft spot for multi-use products. When rushed I often fill in my brows with an eyeshadow and use the same shadow as a liner, and I sometimes will use a few dabs of lipstick on my cheeks in a pinch. I use products in unexpected ways and blend things too. It may be my unconventional way of thinking and testing of so many beauty products, but that leads me back to multi-use products and this new beauty from YSL that I am so excited about. You see YSL has a brand new lip and cheek product that will change the way you feel about lip and cheek products - trust me on this. It is unlike any of the others I have tried in the past. Meet YSL Babydoll Kiss & Blush.

YSL Babydoll Kiss & Blush

I got a peek at an early sample of one of the YSL Babydoll Kiss & Blush colors, Fuchsia Desinvolte, before they went on sale. The Babydoll Kiss & Blush is an air-whipped mousse texture that you would think feels like a lipgloss when it comes out of the nail polish looking bottle with the lipgloss looking applicator, but it does not.

YSL Babydoll Kiss & Blush on Lips
It feels like a super lightweight gel cream that feels very lightweight and a bit creamy when applied to the lips. It feels smooth on the lips but dries pretty fast. It is definitely not a matte look. It is more of a creamy stain look with a bit of a sheen. The color definitely lasts a good 6 - 7 hours. The shade Fuchsia Desinvolte was definitely bright. When faded it almost left a stain to my lips and a little gloss seemed to perk up the color again.

YSL Babydoll Kiss & Blush on Cheeks
Again, it feels like a super lightweight gel cream that feels very lightweight and and somewhat creamy when applied to the cheeks. I felt like I had to work faster with my cheeks and didn't need nearly as much as I thought, though I was warned by my friend at the counter that less was more. Just a small dab on the back of my hand then dabs onto the apple of my cheek than swiftly blended out works perfectly. This lasted all day on my cheeks. The finish was matte and natural looking - not chalking matte looking.

Might like this as the few reviews I've read are great. Wouldn't it make sense if the models wore the same shade on the lips and cheeks... that would be beautiful.
This does sound promising but ouch on the pricetag.
That looks and sounds gorgeous. I love all in one products. I dream of a bronzed color product like this that I could use this summer on eyes too!
