Get the Look: Katharine McPhee at the Golden Globes.

Katharine McPhee looked super sleek and sexy in her deep plunging Theyskens' Theory dress at the 2013 Golden Globes. Her makeup, which looked neutral from afar but actually featured a very bold and beautiful eye, was created by Makeup Artist Jake Bailey using NARS.

"Katharine's dress looks like it belongs in a Helmut Newton photograph, so I thought the makeup should be strong and sultry...the kind of eye makeup that would be in one of those photographs. It's an eye look for sure - a smoky eye with a beautiful nude skin palette."

Makeup Artist Lauren Andersen did the beautiful makeup look for actress Katharine McPhee for last night's Golden Globe Awards.

Inspiration: To complement Katharine’s ethereal Donna Karan number, Lauren crated an equally innocent beauty look that was fresh-faced and youthful. “This beauty look was very sweet,” Lauren said.  “I used the flower Baby’s Breath as my inspiration for creating a look for Katharine that was simple and natural.”

Step by Step How-To:
v  To create the base for her look, Lauren started with Cle de Peau Beaute Refining Fluid Foundation SPF 24
v  Next, she applied L’Oréal Paris Magic Smooth Soufflé Blush in Celestial to the apples of Katharine’s cheeks for a soft, natural flush
v  On the eyes, she swiped L’Oréal Paris Infallible Eye Shadow in Iced Latte across the lids, blending it into the crease for a sultry, warm smoky eye
v  She also thinly lined eyes with L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Smoldering Eyeliner in Brown to deepen the look of lashes, which she coated with L’Oréal Paris Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara
v  For the lips, Lauren used Dior Rouge Contour Lip Liner in Linen and L’Oréal Paris Infallible Gloss 8HR in Petal
v  Lauren finished with a dusting of YSL Poudre Sur Mesure – a semi loose powder in neutral to set the overall look
