9 New Skin Care Launches for Fall.

Summer to fall is a huge transition period for the skin. I normally tweak a few of my skin care products this time of year to recover and repair from the summer and prepare it for the winter. I go from spending a lot of time outside to not spending all of my inside yet, but I do start to spend more time indoors in the fall. I'm quite surprised at the recent onslaught of skin care launches that are helping me make the transition easier. From new makeup remover wipes that hydrate the skin to custom eye treatments there is something to make the transition easier and your skin better.

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream

The super popular Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ has a new sister: Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream and it is exactly what my skin needs. I'll be honest, DDML just wasn't enough for my skin. My skin is quite dry and usually really dehydrated. It needs more nourishment, and that is exactly what thisi new cream is. It was formulated for for very dry to dry, weakened and irritated skins - that's me. And a lot of you as we transition from summer to fall, which makes this new cream a perfect one to try right now. Simple Skincare Micellar Make-Up Remover Wipes

Earlier this year I was introduce to Micellar water with Simple Skincare and their Micellar Cleansing Water. I use it often to remove my makeup and it's really a phenomenal product. It's pretty amazing to think that this vitamin infused water can remove makeup and thoroughly cleanse the skin without leaving any residue behind. Now the brand has taken the same kind-to-skin formula and infused it in a convenient wipe form. These wipes remove makeup with ease as they cleanse and instantly hydrate the skin, with no residue left behind. Skin is left feeling super fresh and clean. $5.99 - $7.99 at drugstores and mass retailers

Shiseido Bio-Performance Glow Revival Eye Treatment

I've got a little bit of sun damage around my eyes. I'm not sure if I haven't been vigilant enough with my sunscreen after doing some laser treatment or if it's just age, but I've got what I call molting  or areas of small sun spots that are molting together around the corners of my eyes. This Bio-Performance Glow Revival Eye Treatment is just what this area calls for to not only visibly reduce uneven skin tone and dark spots, but it will help improve dark circles, wrinkles and dullness around the entire eye area. It does so by targeting optimal capillary functioning that typically declines with age. It uses Multi-Capisolve 1124 to do just that and I can't wait to see the improvements. Think of this as a serum just for the eyes. $65 at shiseido.com, counters and department stores in September

Clinique Smart Custom-Repair Eye Treatment

This new eye treatment is a must. It's super advanced as it incorporates "smart" technology into the formula to reduce the four major signs of aging in the eye area. I like that! This innovative formula visibly brightens, lifts, smoothes creepiness and diminishes crow's feet. It does all of that all while giving the entire eye area a big boost of hydration which helps to repair dry, damaged skin. $49.00 at clinique.com, counters and department stores

Going forward with their smart theme, Clinique has partnered with TED to launch a global campaign in search of the next "smart" idea. Clinique hopes to engage, empower and encourage women all over the world to share their intelligence, ambition and creativity.  Clinique, with support from TED, will crowd source the next smart idea, to be submitted on Clinique.com thru 9/30/15.  The most compelling idea will receive funding up to $20,000 to help make it a reality, plus the opportunity to attend a TEDWomen event in 2016.

Skin+Pharmacy Advanced Anti-Aging Therapy Hydration Collection

CVS/pharmacy has a new exclusive brand that's based on clinical treatments and results. It's all dermatologist tested. Being that summer usually has the skin dehydrated, it's a great time to try the Hydration Collection. All of the products in the collection are designed to deliver superior hydration while targeting the visible signs of aging. It does these gently without using harsh ingredients. The products feature a new Hydropore+ technology which is a sustained release of hyaluronic acid and oligosaccharides (yes! that's a word). This is a gentle alternative to retinol that further hydrates the skin and helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. I like the sound of that. I'm testing the Hydrating Eye Cream ($15), Hydrating Serum ($20) and Intensive Hydration Cream ($20). Immediately I notice how hydrated my skin is and will continue to use them to measure results.

Shiseido Ultimune Eye Power Infusing Eye Concentrate

I'm all about putting up my best defenses and protecting my skin as much as I can. One product I use is Shiseido Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate and there is now a Concentrate just for the delicate eye area. Ultimune Eye targets the function of the skins cells to boost its immunity and strengthen the very delicate skin around the eyes. The result is smooth, resilient and a glowing eye are with fewer lines and wrinkles. I'm all for adding this to my routine. $65 at shiseido.com, counters and department stores

Clinique Take the Day Off Cleansing Balm

So, this cleansing balm launched this summer, but I just started using it and I am in love. It's a solid balm that transforms immediately into a silky, fluid-like oil as soon as you use it on the skin. It dissolves every last bit of makeup - no matter how stubborn it is - with ease. It feels really luxurious at first then just turns so silky that I am addicted to it as it rinses away. $29 at clinique.com, counters and department stores
