Fashion Week S/S 2012: Backstage at Betsey Johnson.

The Betsey Johnson show is always such a good time. Beside the usual cart-wheeling Betsey rounding out the show, the rest was exactly what you expect from her. Fun, fabulous and sometimes over the top. This seasons show was no exception. Not only the outfits, the makeup and hair totally fit in with the overall sexy, burlesque-like vibe.

Sarah Lucero for Stila keyed the show. Sarah said the inspiration for the show was: "Marilyn Monroe and the sexy glamour girls of the 1950’s with bold hot pink lips and flirty fluttering lashes."

Fashion Week S/S 2012: Backstage at ADAM.

This season, ADAM envisioned a girly, yet refined look to capture the essence of the collection.

Deborah Lippman started with an elegant nail shape - short and rounded to achieve the perfect level of sophistication.  She then created a shimmery shade combination to complement the pastel and neutral color palette. Deborah applied one coat of NAKED, a clean bare beige, topped with Diamonds and Pearls to add a gorgeous iridescent, fresh-water pearl finish. Layering makes it easy to create a custom color this season, resulting in a flawless way to wear feminine, chic look.
