When it comes to anti-aging skin care, there is one thing that I aim to do for my skin, and that is hydrate it. Sure, my skin is on the drier side, and it craves moisture on the outermost layer, but when it comes to skin hydration, I want a hydrating moisturizer to plump up my skin from the inside. When it comes to my skincare routine at the end of the day, I am the first to admit that I am lazy. I am even more lax with my skincare regimen in the summertime. I use less makeup (I often go without makeup in the summer) and care less about skin care overall. I don't like the feel of heavy makeup or the buildup of a lot of products on my face when it's hot and humid outside. It's not an excuse for taking care of my skin, though. I do cleanse my skin at the end of the day — it's imperative to get rid of the makeup (if I wear it), dirt and oil that buildup on it over the day. I've been using Olay Daily Facials 4-in-1 Water Activated Cleansing Cloths at night, and it is the easiest way to wash your face at the end of the day.

Holiday Photo Pretty!

Last week, I shared my tips with you for getting camera ready for the holidays. Well, I took my own advice about a month ago, as my family and I had some professional photographs taken. I just created my holiday cards, a digital holiday card and fun little photo story to share with family and friends -- I want to share it with you too.

My Mother wanted a photo taken with all "the girls" in the family and it came out nice. This picture features my sister, my Mom, my niece, me and my daughter. I was able to add a frame to the photo, use a blemish fixer that helped me smooth out redness in our skin, brighten the overall photo with a handy tool and even add text overlay to the photo to make it look like a card. It was super easy and fun to use! Even those with no photo or graphic skills could master the editor in no time.
