COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation.
Have you ever spent a lot of time on your makeup, left the house looking flawless only to look in the mirror a few hours later and notice your makeup has almost disappeared? It's happened to me on too many occasions. That is why I am constantly on the search for great, long-lasting makeup products, specifically foundation. I am thrilled to report that I just found a great one in the new COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation.

Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation combines everything I want in a foundation to make it a staple in my makeup bag.
It comes in very upscale glass bottle with a pump. A foundation pump is essential in my book. The pump (which twists open and closed) makes it easy to disperse and measure. One pump provides enough foundation for medium to full, buildable coverage that is lightweight and leaves a long-lasting soft, natural matte finish on my skin. I say natural matte, as the finish is not a dull flat matte that enhances dry or oily skin like many matte foundations do. This foundation leaves my skin with the perfect natural matte look.

As the name says, it also does the job of three products. The formula contains a built-in primer, concealer and foundation with sunscreen in one. The primer helps the foundation glide on smoothly over skin and sets it in place. The concealer hides imperfections easily, as the foundation smoothes over fine lines, hides pores and diffuses light to create a beautiful, even look to the skin.
My favorite part about the foundation is the lasting power. Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation goes on and looks beautiful on my skin first thing in the morning and lasts, looking perfectly set all day long. Take a look at me around 9:00 AM when I first applied the foundation and then again around 5:00 P.M. after a long busy day.

I used no powder over my makeup, and while some of my makeup on my eyes and cheeks have faded, my foundation still looks as good as it did when I first applied it. I should note that even after a late night out, my foundation was still looking good when I went to take it off around 11:30 that same night. It doesn't get better than that.
After experimenting with different application methods, I like applying the foundation with my Beauty Blender sponge and dotting with my fingertips on spots where I need more coverage. If you don't have a sponge, fingertips alone do a great job, better than a brush in my opinion. Just be sure to start in the center of your face and press the foundation into your skin and gently blend it out.
COVERGIRL has you covered in a variety of 14 shades to match a great range of skin tones. From lightest to darkest, they are:
- Ivory
- Classic Ivory
- Creamy Natural
- Buff Beige
- Nude Beige
- Medium Beige
- Natural Beige
- Warm Beige
- Creamy Beige
- Soft Honey
- Golden Tan
- Cleassic Tan
- Tawny
- Soft Sable
I am using the shade 832 named Nude Beige, and it is a great match for my skin tone. It actually looks darker in the bottle than it does on my skin. I know it is sometimes tricky to find a shade in the drugstore, so keep in mind that I have found that the colors are actually about a shade lighter than they look in the bottle.

COVERGIRL Outlast Stay Fabulous 3-in-1 Foundation retails for about $9.99 at your favorite drugstore or mass retailer.

I am thrilled that you like it so much. I knew you would!
Like I said in the post, it lasts all day and then some. Please let me know if you try it and how you like it.
MUFE HD is a great foundation. I have used a few bottles of that and have a perfect match for summer.
I almost compared Stay Fabulous it to a high end foundation in the post, but didn't feel right about it. Now that you have asked, I will. I swear this is identical to Armani Lasting Silk Foundation. The coverage is the same; the shade I am using in the CG and the Armani I have seem to be the same; they both last all day long.
I have used it for a week now and I have had no breakout issues, though I should mention that I think I have used only two products in my life that caused me to have a breakout. I have sensitive skin, but not acne prone.
I know it can be difficult. Look at all the bottles and choose the one that you think best looks like it matches your skin and one in a shade darker. I am betting the darker one will be a good match. Also, when it comes to returning, CVS has a great policy where you can return an open makeup item with now questions asked.
I have dry skin and like medium coverage and this works. I also know it worked well on a friend that needed more coverage and has oily skin. It is simply a do it all for all foundation.
I definitely does save time with primer. I still use a small amount of concealer under my eyes, but mainly because I like the lighter and brighter look.
You are right on every point. I bet your wife would love this foundation.
You will love this. I am honored to hear that you really value my opinion.
I am not that comfortable doing makeup pics, but I appreciate your response. I am wearing COVERGIRL LipPerfection Lipcolor in the shade Darling. It's one of my favorites.
I can't believe how well the shade really matches. I'm glad that came through in the image. AS far as bold makeup goes, that is not me. While I do go heavy on the eye makeup sometimes, especially if I going out for the night, I am never wild with it. Thanks for the compliment.
I have worn this foundation everyday since I received it and that alone says a lot.
I often have to mix two foundation shades to get the right match, so I definitely understand where you are coming from. Please do try it. Everyone that I have personally recommended it to has loved it.
Thanks for the tip.
I bought OSF the other day and I LOVE it...
Affordable too. : )
