It's no secret that I am a huge fan of IT Cosmetics. One of my favorite and most recommended IT Cosmetics products is Bye Bye Under Eye. Whenever someone asks me my secret to looking awake and fresh, I tell them it's Bye Bye Under Eye. IT Cosmetics took everything we know and love about Bye Bye Under Eye one step further with the new launch of Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pot and I'm obsessed.
Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pot was just one of the many products that launched with the slew of new IT Cosmetics fall 2017 launches. I'll admit that I didn't jump right in and try Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pot right away because I am so happy with Bye Bye Under Eye. But when my sister told me she bought the new concealer and my pot in medium tan mysteriously disappeared only to notice that Caci had been using it and loved it, I knew I had to try it pronto.
The main difference in both concealers is that Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pot is obviously in pot form but from looking at it you wouldn't know that the pot has a lighter and more smooth consistency. It also infuses caffeine and green coffee extract into the formula for an extra boost along with anti-aging hydrolyzed collagen, peptides, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, which the original formula has.
I have applied this concealer with my fingers, a sponge and brush. I find it best to apply it with a stiff concealer brush like this. The formula is super lightweight, yet very pigmented. It feels and looks super smooth and silky. It does not look cakey and I did not have a problem with it settling into my fine lines. I have pretty dry skin, but I am not dry around my eyes because I do a good job at moisturizing.
I highly suggest mixing concealer with an eye cream if you have a problem with creasing or your concealer creeping into your fine lines. This extra bit of hydration usually helps to plump up the fine lines and extend wear.
If you need an extra boost of brightness around your eyes, try Bye Bye Under Eye Illumination. I use that concealer when I am feeling and looking extra tired. It is basically the same concealer but with IT Cosmetics' Drops of Light technology.
Bye Bye Under Eye Concealing Pot is available in six shades. I find all of IT Cosmetics shades to be on the lighter side of the spectrum. I have been using the shade medium, but I really should be using medium-tan if Caci didn't swipe that from me. I use the tan shade to conceal spots.
