As part of my job to find the best makeup and beauty products, I test a lot of makeup.
I spend a lot of time online researching products; I go to Sephora, Nordstrom, CVS, Ulta and Walgreens fairly often to scope out what's new.
All of the makeup sort of looks the same after awhile and that's why I only truly highlight what I really like and what I think you will like. I would never want anyone wasting their time or money on makeup, skincare or any kind of beauty products that aren't going to work for them.
Because I am gifted with a lot of beauty products to test for my site and different social accounts, I honestly don't buy that many beauty products. Well, I do buy the products that I regularly use or become obsessed with. So for me to take notice of a collection and buy a few pieces from really says something.
The Smashbox + Vlada Petal Metal Collection got me.
As soon as I saw pictures of the Petal Metal Highlighter on Instagram, I knew that I had to have it, and this beauty is worth every penny.
The way that this highlighter glams in rose gold is just the beginning. I love the way that it is molded with its flower design; I was honestly afraid to dip my brush into it.
I did use a brush with it, and it's best to use a fan brush and apply with a light hand.
This highlighter is pigmented, yet beautiful and soft.
I bought Rosemantic, and this soft rust gold with a faint gold pearl highlighter does not disappoint in any way.
The Cover Shot: Petal Metal Eye Shadow Palette is a must for anyone who loves neutrals with a kick of metallic.
The Cover Shot palettes each have eight shades in them and they are essentially two quads in one.
There is one large base shade with three complimentary shades. The shadows are so silky and soft, yet last on the lid all day.
I am loving this palette and will be using it all summer long.
This opaque metallic lip gloss is so beautiful in a true metallic pink gold shade.
I just ordered the other two shades as these are what I want to wear on my lips this summer. Not only are metallics hot for summer, rose golds are having a major moment.
