If you are wanting a summer makeup collection that screams summer, then look no further than Urban Decay's Beached Collection.
Covered in palm trees inspired by the peppermint-colored landscape of the warm Southern California beaches, each and every piece of makeup in the Beached summer collection make you think of the glistening sun on the bronze sand and turquoise ocean waves.
Just one look at the products and you can see why I am loving the products.
What you can't tell from looking at the makeup is that the products were designed with summer in mind. From the ultra-pigmented eyeshadow palette to warm bronzers, creamy eyeliners and lipsticks, these formulas are made to last through the hottest days under the sun.
Urban Decay's formulas are no joke, they are some of the longest lasting that I use, and all of these are perfect for summertime use.
The Urban Decay Beached Collection includes the following makeup products:
Beached Eyeshadow Palette - $34
This eyeshadow palette is the star of the Beached Collection. With eight brand-new shades that range from warm coppers to deep pops or turquoise, the summer looks are endless.
I am obsessed with the shades in this palette.
I love the bronze and copper shades like Heatwave and 16th St, but the main attractions are Double Dip and Plunge, the turquoise colors. The blue-green shades look beautifully blended out together, but I like them softly blended with the copper and brown shades over my eyeliner as an accent; it's the perfect summer look.
Vice Lipsticks - $18 each
We all know that the Vice Lipstick formula is INCREDIBLE. If you haven't tried it, just one swipe of this lippie formula gives you lots of creamy pigmented color. There are three shades in the Beached Collection. There is Heatwave, a metallic rust; Tower 1, a shifty metallic peach; and 100 Degrees, a bright coral-pink.
Tower 1 is such a pretty color on me and it is what I think I will be using most from the collection. The balance of peach and metallic will look great with a faux-glow.
24/7 Metallic Glide-On Eye Pencils - $21 each
I love the creamy feel and long staying power of the 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, and the metallic version is perfect for summer. There are two shades in the Beached Collection that pair nicely with the Beached Eyeshadow Palette. There is Goldmine, a gold shimmer with gold micro-sparkle, and Lucky, a metallic burnt orange shade that was so popular that UD brought it back from their original lineup.
Beached Bronzer - $30
There are two Beached Bronzer shades that make your face look naturally sunkissed with the stroke of the brush. There is Sun-Kissed, a matte light-medium, and Bronzed, a matte medium-dark. To have bronzer look most natural on the skin, apply it everywhere the sun would naturally hit, like your forehead, nose and cheekbones. For even longer lasting, waterproof wear, apply wet with a damp Beautyblender sponge.
