While everyone buzzes about the upcoming Urban Decay Distortion Eyeshadow Palette and its shade shifting powers, I'm over here playing with the Heavy Metals Metallic Eyeshadow Palette. In case you haven't seen it yet, the Heavy Metals Metallic Palette is part of the Heavy Metals Holiday Collection which also includes some killer lip palettes and lip sets. How can you not be obsessed with this versatile eyeshadow palette?
Metallics are very on-trend and I'm pretty obsessed with them, especially when they are courtesy of Urban Decay and a brand new eyeshadow formula that was created just for this palette. The metallics are INSANE with a foiled effect better than ever before. What is equally as good is how the formula feels; it is SO soft with an almost creamy texture that creates a stunning, color-popping, shiny metallic effect on the eye.
I cannot express how impressed I am and how unexpected the formula is. Metallics like these usually don't feel creamy and velvety, nor do they blend like these shadows. Urban Decay has truly outdone themselves.
When you look at the unique palette with the large mirror in the middle, you will notice two color palettes. I really love how there is a bold set of shades on one side of the palette and a neutral color palette on the other side.
