There is no denying the fact that a girl can never have too many great eyeshadow palettes. Lancôme has created one of the best eyeshadow palettes of the year - or dare I say years - in the new Auda[city] in Paris Multi-Pan Eyeshadow Palette. With 16 gorgeous shadows in four shade groups, with shades from soft neutrals to deep and smoky in both warm and cool tones, this is the eyeshadow palette to splurge on.
Auda[city] in Paris was created by Lancôme's famed makeup artist and Global Makeup Creative Director Lisa Eldridge inspired by vignettes of Parisian life. The palette itself is heavy and luxurious; it's mirrored, of course, and comes with a full sized double-ended brush that is actually usable. It is everything you want in a palette right from the beginning.
Now for the shadows. As I mentioned, the 16 shades are basically broken down into four shade groups: Good Morning Paris which are your nude and neutral shades; Ride & Promenade which are your pinky nude shades; Unexpected Rendez-Vous which are your mauve and purple shades; and Nuit Parisienne which are your deepest smoky shades. Each little quad is a mix of matte and shimmery finishes that glide onto the eye. The lighter shades really need a primer to adhere and get full intensity, but all last really well. They are very silky, well pigmented and don't cake or crease. You can literally create endless looks from just this one palette.
