When I saw that L'Oréal Paris was adding a new mascara to the Voluminous lineup, I was all ears. I'm always searching for the best mascara, and if I can find the best drugstore mascara, that's even better! I was super excited to hear about Lash Paradise Mascara.
When it comes to L'Oréal, l am already a big fan of the original Voluminous mascara and a few of the subsequent formulas, so I was excited to see what was in store. When I saw the tease for L'Oréal Lash Paradise Mascara, I knew I was in for a treat.
If you are a mascara aficionado, like me, you may notice that Lash Paradise looks quite similar to the best-selling Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara. Too Faced Better Than Sex is another one of my faves, so I was really excited to see how these would compare, especially given the obvious price point differences — I am all about saving money.
When put side by side, you can see just how similar Lash Paradise Mascara is to Too Faced's mascara. Not only does the outside tube look similar, the hourglass shaped wand is almost the same, as well.
The tube of Lash Paradise Mascara is much lighter in weight and feels "cheaper"; but the formula? Lash Paradise has an amazing formula and I think I am liking it more than Too Faced.

Now, I wear lash extensions, but I had to immediately try this out on my lower lashes, and I gave Caci a tube to use on her naturally full lashes. Let me just say that it was love at first use for both of us. Lash Paradise gives incredible length and volume while providing the separation you want. The result is flirty, feathery and just spot on. This formula doesn't budge either. Don't make the mistake I did and think your facial wipe is going to remove this mascara; you need an oil based eye makeup remover, or this one which I found removes the mascara in one swipe. Lash Paradise stays on lashes with no flaking or smudging whatsoever. Caci and I both tested the washable version, but there is a waterproof version that I imagine will be even tougher to remove.
L'Oréal Lash Paradise Mascara is a win, for sure, and I ask why spend $23 when you can spend around $9 and get a mascara that is phenomenal and honestly, better than TFBTS.
Lash Paradise Mascara has a suggested retail price of $9.99, but I bought it for $8.99 at Target. It comes in Black, Blackest Black or Black Brown. Buy it at Ulta, your favorite drugstore or mass retailer now.
