The Patentpolish Lip Pencil is very much like Clinique's Chubby Stick and COVERGIRL's Jumbo Gloss Balm but features the rounded tip. I, for one, love that the tip is rounded. I am such a great fan of the jumbo gloss pencils and use them often, but I have been holding out hope for a rounded tip forever. My sharpened pointed tip almost immediately is dulled from heavy use and let's face it, it is not that easy to use. The rounded tip is perfectly shaped for the size of lips.
I have Patentpolish in Fearless, Revved Up and Spontaneous. Revved Up is on my lips right now and is perfect for me! The formula is like a more pigmented and longer lasting MAC Huggable Lipcolour as it is very nourishing. It goes on like a lip balm/lipstick but looks like a lipstick with a lipgloss on top. I hope this is a permanent product in the collection and that more colors will be added because I really like it. Of course it has the signature vanilla flavor but not as heavy as normal; it is more scented than it is flavored.
MAC Patentpolish Lip Pencils sell for $20.00 each at MAC counters, maccosmetics.com and fine department stores such as Macy's and Nordstrom.
