TRIA Hair Removal Laser.

DateOctober 28, 2011 | written by AuthorTeri Cosenzi, Editor | Comment3 Comments | Share ArticleShare This

Let's talk hair removal. I don't even want to think of how much time I have spent waxing, tweezing and shaving over the years. Let's face it though, it is something we just have to do.  As Americans, we have this obsession with being as clean shaven as possible.  It takes time and money. Only to do it again and again.

Let's see.  There are the brows, the upper lip, under arms, bikini line and legs.  I know plenty of women who have to have their lower back and belly waxed too.  It is an endless cycle.

Thankfully, permanent hair removal is available. I am not talking about driving to the doctor and spending thousands of dollars on multiple treatments to get the job done. I am talking about this great new system from TRIA Beauty, a leader in light-based laser technology. This is the TRIA Hair Removal Laser ($395). Tria is the only FDA-cleared hair removal laser that is approved for permanent hair removal at home.

I am so excited to test this system out to see how it works for me. I have been given the TRIA Hair removal Laser to test out over the next six months and will continue to update you every month with my progress.  Hopefully, at the end of the six months we will all see my results.

So, I have received my unit and have it charging.  I am going to test it out on my under arms, and if I tolerate it well, I will start using it on my bikini line and eventually on my legs.  I am told that with just ten minutes on each area, two times a week, that I will be hair free - permanently in six months. Stay tuned to find out.

Woo... so expensive! but worth it. Is it good for 1 use? i would really spend $300 for that. Im tired of using shaving creams T.T

So excited to hear your updates after using this for a while! I have been saving to have laser-hair removal done on my bikini area, legs, and underarms but if the Tria laser works, think of the savings!! Please update often!!

I have tried many "at home" laser systems but they are just not powerful enough system to affect the hair. They need to release a more powerful home version.
